This gym has been many different gyms over the span of 20 years. Muv Fotness is by far the best gym I’ve been a member of. Clean building and friendly staff.

Amazing gym, super clean with amazing and friendly staff that is very understanding and goes above and beyond to always have an amazing experience. Great place for parents as this place also has a daycare that looks after your kids!

The gym is great. The people are great. Yall just need to hire someone that is dependable and will get to work on time to open the gym. August 10, 2023 5:58am and the gym is still not open.

I’m not one to write a review for anything but I felt like this one was needed. Don’t get me wrong, MUV is a good gym. But within the past few weeks there have been two incidences where the morning person was late and until get there until 1 to 1 1/2 hours after the supposed opening time. This can be very hard for us with busy schedules. I pay for the gym to be open at the times posted, I pay for a gym that I can rely on. But sadly I now have to worry about if the morning person will be there on time to open the doors… This has taken away my time as well as money spent on gas. I called today asking to speak to the manager but the worker kept being asked “why”. After giving them a reason, I was told that the person I was speaking with was the assistant manager and they could “get the message across” because the manager was busy. I told them what happened and asked what they could do about the situation. I was told that there was a conversation with the opening person and that they were gonna have to stay on top of it. But if that’s the case, how come this is the second time it’s happened in such a short time span? It last happened on July 25th 2023, and now today which is August 10th 2023. I’m not one to write a review like this but it has severely inconvenienced me due to my busy schedule. If needed, I will have to show proof of the spotty worker attendance (late openings which is them not fulfilling their side of the bargain) in order to rightfully break the contract so that I can go to a different gym…. :/

Rosy's class was amazing! Signed up today for membership because she is worth it alone! The facility is super clean and welcoming. Kyle made the sign up process super easy and felt no pressure through the process.

I’ve never wanted to cancel a gym membership because the vibe is off. The vibe is def off in this place. It’s fairly clean, but it’s oft packed, and the music is blaring. People equipment sit. The parking lot is super shady and good luck getting a spot that isn’t “will I get murdered walking to my car after dark” thought inducing. I’ve been a member for two years and cannot get myself to come to this place, which isn’t normal as I’ve been a member of different gyms in Oregon for years.Also whoever signed me up talked me into a membership that is above what I need, and use, and for that I am forever resentful. Shady used car salesman vibes. This gym gives grief over cancelling of accounts (they req you to go in person, or send a letter, which in my experience is not normal, also very prohibitive which I’m assuming is borderline illegal).I’d rather work out in my basement or with the barebone equipment at Portland rock gym

Great place to be a member but trying to cancel a membership and dealing with personal training billing is a nightmare.Looks like I will share the whole story so my comment has some clarity.So I decided to join Muv last September and thought I would want to give personal training a try. I quickly figured out it would not fit into my budget and went in to cancel over three months later (per the agreement) in February. I was charged for both January and Feb despite my personal trainer not even working at that location anymore as of December. I took responsibility and held back on asking for a refund or anything then because it was my fault I hadn’t cancelled, even if my trainer was gone. In February after I was charged, I went in to cancel my memberships due to being busy with school. The lead PT had said he was unable to help me at the time due to being busy and he would take care of things and call me back. While I wasn’t stoked about leaving without taking care of it, i understood that things get busy so I trusted that he would help me when he could. He called me exactly one time when I was unable to pick up due to taking a test. I continually called to see when a good time to come in would be and received so much mixed information. Fast forward to March, I am once again charged for PT even though I cancelled my basic membership a month before and was waiting on them to cancel PT. Now I hate being that person but a week and a half after I received the charge with no return calls, I called and told them what time I’d be in and demanded that somebody cancel my membership and refund me because the delay was 100 percent on MUV. They cancelled the membership but now refuse to tell me anything about the refund despite Jay putting a request through over a month ago.The second to last time I called, I was met by an employee who essentially told me not to call anymore and that if Jay hasn’t called then that means he hasn’t had time. Pretty rude IMO but I continued to wait.It’s been hell trying to get through this process and nobody from the facility is making sure it gets taken care of. I emailed the response to my original post and continue to call yet still have heard nothing. There is absolutely no reason why a cancelling/refund process should take over three months. Jay is blaming the higher ups but They won’t tell me what the holdup is exactly and its appearing to me that nobody wants to take accountability. I’m at a loss for words and what I’ve described here isn’t even all of the negatives I’ve experienced with this gym. Definitely regret my choice and now I will have to go in next month and deal with this whole process again since they lock you in for a year. So looking forward to having to regrese my account…..not. I literally just want to be done with this place forever but can’t as of now.

Lakota was super helpful getting me set up with a day pass. The space is very clean and has a lot of options machine wise. Will definitely be coming here whenever I’m in town!
