I went in to find ski boots. There were three employees in the store, not one of them greeted me or bothered to ask if I needed help. I found some boots on my own and went to cash out. I pleasantly said hey how’re you doing, the girl at register stared at computer and didn’t acknowledge me. As someone who works in the service/ retail industry I expect WAY better customer service and for employees to be welcoming and helpful, especially when you’re there to spend a lot of money. The only reason I will return is if I need to return boots.

Play It Again Sports in Portland have been so helpful! Jackson figure skates have been very difficult to find and I needed 2 pairs for my friends a size 9 and a size 8 and both times I called they had the last pair in that size and they held them for me until I was able to get them from the store! They have been most helpful in our search for figure skates! 😁 ⛸

I took my two kids (ages 3 and 8) in for some hockey skates as they are new to the sport and I had no idea what I was looking for. We were immediately greeted by Sean who is so upbeat and was willing to help! He took the time to explain in great detail how to find the right size, how to care for the skates as well as showed me additional items that I didn't even know we needed! We all left there with big smiles, and big bags, and can't wait until baseball season to gear up and to see Sean. Good help is hard to find, hang on to this guy!!

They’re so awesome! We got two pairs of used skates for $40 each and everyone we talked to was kind and helpful. We also got two hockey sticks for $20 each. Lovely experience, will definitely be back to check out the cross country ski selection. Highly recommend.
