The teachers and the classes have improved my life for the better over the years. It's always great to meet a friendly staff member in the lobby, have an excellent class, and connect with people in the process. The studio and space overall is clean and well managed. A great place to spend an hour of the day!

I always look forward to the core classes on Wednesday night. They really try to instruct you on how to perform postures correctly during dedicated instructional classes. Well worth the monthly membership.

I was fortunate to find this studio during my visit to Portland last month. Special thank you to Darcy and Julie who were so welcoming. The studio is a great size and clean and I was happy to see that they also had showers there as well. The class was fabulous (thank you Julie! I'm hoping I remembered the correct name ...or was it Alyssa?) In any event, the staff was fantastic and the class was challenging but so worth it. If you're in the neighborhood, I highly recommend!

This place is the best and has transformed my life in a wonderful way. My wife brought me here 2.5 years ago to help me manage a pretty bad bout of depression, chronic back pain and anxiety. I was a complete novice to yoga and I will always remember how kind and open Donna was on my first day there. It felt like the right place and I kept going back 2-3 times per week. Every instructor there has the same passion, kindness and authenticity that Donna showed me on my first day.All the classes have a similar framework which is a powerful flowing vinyasa. The instructors don't practice with you but instead focus their energy and attention to the room, the breath and the flow. It can be a powerful experience when the room is in sync and you're in a flow state. The space is welcoming, open, bright and clean. The clientele is a mix of all types of people, all body times and all practice levels. I never felt self conscious from day one when I was a clunky stiff old guy to the present time. This was the most important part for me when I was first starting.I now realize why the instructors are passionate about what they do and teach. Going to PPY and leaning the practice of yoga has brought a new calm to my life. I realized that our bodies and minds are much stronger than our society has led us to believe. My 20 years of chronic back pain has resolved, I have a new found calm and am full of gratitude and joy most of the time. I still can't believe I went from being a guy with bone spurs to someone that now does back bends (it's a work in progress). Thank you Julie for your vision and for cultivating this wonderful place.

Portland Power Yoga is incredible for the mind and body. Their Core class, taught by Darcy, with regular practice will transform your body and build physical and mental strength. I have never attended a fitness class that was so transformative. Darcy’s class is a gift to the Portland Maine community.

I was recommended to Portland Power Yoga by a friend. My friend and I decided we wanted to do a month long commitment of 6am yoga. You honestly cant beat the price for the new client package. It has been great so far. The room is large, hot and very clean :). The staff and workouts have been amazing. I would highly recommend.
