5 stars! I’ve been seeing Danielle every other week for customized massage. Danielle truly listens to my concerns and addresses any aches and pains. She also uses her highly tuned sense of intuition to provide a well-rounded, restful and deeply therapeutic experience.

I was referred to Amy for pelvic floor PT and could never have predicted the ways that it has changed my life. Amy is an exceptionally attuned and thoughtful practitioner, and I am very grateful for her trauma-informed and inclusive care. She has taught me so much and I cannot recommend her, or this practice, highly enough!

Since working on the issues and addressing them, my quality of life has improved so much. Amy is amazing and a very warm kind caring person. I really have felt so encouraged and cared for at each visit. My husband and I also both got massages from Danielle the massage therapist. She has a great calm presence and helped relax us both.Overall Roots is an amazing practice and I cannot recommend it enough. My husband will be seeing the orthopedic PT Jackie so will also report back!

Receiving 3 months of physical therapy to treat vestibular migraine from Rachael G. at Roots helped me gain control of my life and lessen my anxiety when dealing with an episode. I was heard, treated, and given the best care possible by Rachael. I looked forward to my sessions each week. With such beneficial results, I felt confident enough to re-start my yoga practice at Roots. Taking classes with Sylvie, Julie C., and Amy continued my journey to wellness. I felt truly seen in their classes and the results were blissful.Roots is a very special place where, as soon as you step inside, you are treated as family, as if they’ve known you forever. Their services come with expertise, knowledge, and plenty of HEART.

I went to Amy on a recommendation and after a month of working together she was able to help me almost entirely recover from a surgery I had been struggling with for 6 months. Very professional and made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. Also as a queer person sometimes medical and health environments can be a bit of a challenge but I felt safe and respected in their space right from the start. I can’t recommend Roots enough.

The folks at Roots are building a community centered around healing that is felt as you walk into their practice--they’ve intentionally designed their space, services, and programming. I came in with two seemingly different issues, in need of PT. Dr. Amy Smith (& her team) listen, observe, and educate well—prioritizing the interconnectedness of systems and experience. Through hands-on treatment & a sustainable program of tools/exercises, I’ve experienced resolved pain (& also learned to breathe). Incredibly grateful for the treatment I’ve received here!
