I really wanted to join this gym but the sign-up process is next to impossible. Their Facebook page says to contact them via Messenger. I did that several times and tried to ask the owner multiple times across the past month when he or a member of staff would be at the gym so I could come get a key fob and sign-up for a membership. I really wanted to get in shape this summer. I just get automated message after automated message which states the gym hours but those hours must not be entirely manned by staff. When I did stop by during the gym hours, no one answered the door despite several people inside the gym. I called the phone a handful of times too and no one answered. The owner then got mad at me on Messenger saying I need to call them and that Messenger isn’t their main mode of communication. He said he hopes I can find a gym that meets my needs! My needs are simple: access to a gym with weightlifting. I had wanted to get a personal trainer set up here eventually too, but it really doesn’t seem like a female or beginner-friendly place after the interactions I’ve had to date. It’s too bad because the pricing seemed decent and this is the closest gym to my house. I hope they can make it easier for beginners and parents in the future. Getting started at a gym when you aren’t in the best of shape and always sick from your kids is not easy and this whole process just made it harder. I’m disappointed I’m back at square one searching for a gym still.

I was thinking about going to this gym because I live close. I showed up for a tour from the owner and he seemed annoyed and impatient. Everytime I asked a question about the gym he seemed a little offended and wouldn't give me an answer. When I took a look at the benching barbells he said that he thought I was off and "he didn't like my vibe". This was really disappointing because if I hadn't met the owner I definitely would have loved this gym.

Good gym with all that is needed. Machines, free weights, cardio, and stretching space. Friendly owner and staff.

I love this place. I though it was awesome when I trained here years ago and Rick owned the place/but after returning and meeting June the new owner , and seeing all the new equipment, I have a deeper appreciation and like for it.Just wondering because I never ask, but does the gym have wifi?

Old school, grungy gym with a variety of equipment and hardcore music! You won’t get kicked out for grunting too loud or weights making too much noise. Perfect for bodybuilders and serious weight lifters.

After a mishap involving signup, I was reimbursed with a month free. The fact that Flex Gym took the time to take care of that means they value customer service. Better yet, they've continued adding improvements to the location, and it looks better and more professional than ever before. Highly recommended.

The only gym worth going to in Racine. Under new, female management, the place has never looked or felt better. Very pro-active about distancing and disinfecting. Doesn't cater to only meatheads; clientele is young and old, male and female, and all backgrounds. Weights, conditioning, cardio, stretching, trainers available, and good rates.

Began coming here for massage and recently began personal training with Saray to get back into an active lifestyle after many years off. With the limited amount of work put in so far I am very happy with the results and I am looking forward to my future physical development.

Great atmosphere for training! People might make a little noise but working out is like sex if no one is making noise your probably not doing it right. Everyone respects the gym and each other which mean you don't have to worry about tripping of weights laying on the floor or trying to find the bar someone moved to the cardio area for some reason. I highly recommend felx for anyone looking for a serious place to workout!
