The center needs more Silver Sneakers classes. The group that attends are dedicated: only two classes a week for 40 or more people is insufficient for overall senior fitness. I attend other fitness classes and find the instructors knowledgeable and friendly. The Silver Sneakers’ class lasts 45 minutes but has been posted on the schedule as 60 minutes. The showers are not clean and have not been clean for at least a year or so. Recently there was a plastic bench in shower that was a hazard as the legs were uneven and was unstable. Last week it was finally removed.. I do not like to give negative reviews and do so at this time to influence positive future changes.

Awesome Gym, really friendly staff! Different areas, from cardio to bodybuilding or functional training, anyone can train here perfectly well

Coming from a bodybuilder, the equipment at this facility is mediocre at best. However the reason for the 1 star lies within the incompetence of the management team. The management staff of O2 have charged me for an additional month even though I have cancelled my membership 2 weeks prior to the date it was charged, and additionally, provided all required documentation for proof of relocation. After a few emails sent back and forth with this team, their incompetence and closed-minded behavior irritated me. Not only was I charged extra because of their employee’s mistake, I was also held accountable and not issued a refund. The behavior and professionalism of the staff is lackluster and honestly enough to never ever step foot in any O2 facility.Stay away from this place if you can, and go to Gold’s gym if you are in Durham.

They have been extremely rude to me so far with trying to cancel my membership for the past month. Gabe the General manager doesn’t even respond to my emails anymore. Front desk is curt when you call. It’s a mess. Also when I was going to the gym it was always so filthy, bathroom trash overflowing, steam room smells like mildew, and broken drinking water fountains.

Came from the High Point NC location and have been so disappointment with this location since we’ve moved here. HP location has tons of options and offers equipment in places that make sense when it’s crowded (turf has two racks of dumbbells ranging from low weights up to plenty of 25-30 lbs.) in addition to their dumbbells by the free weight area. It was clean, well managed and they were always bringing in new pieces for members to enjoy (gorilla grip for lat pull-down). This location is unfortunately not that way…. Has what you need, when it’s not crowded. Otherwise, it’s a struggle to get a workout in at peak times, which isn’t their fault, but better layout and offering of Equipment like dumbbells and bars/plates on the turf would be helpful. It would be nice to have more dumbbells by the turf that aren’t in the middle of equipment and have a greater offering of the weights available to that area. The monkey bar area that holds the free weights is crowded, dirty and the shelves are near falling it’s so worn down. The squat racks are messy no organization to the bars or plates. The lack of attachments for the cables is a clear issue as well (ropes are frayed, old pull-down bars that squeak and lack of single handles). The Womens steam room has pink mold all along the bottom of the door and my husband says in the men’s bathroom is worse— there is constantly standing water by the sinks and it smells foul. The water fountains either aren’t working or are visibly not clean. It’s a shame how dirty this place gets when you really start looking and lack of management staying on top of the facility. May begin to look at other options.

Been going to this gym for a month now and I love it! mainly go at 5 a.m. to workout before work. Love that they have a lot of equipment, a sauna and a clean dressing room and showers. Definitely love being around like minded people; whatever the goal is to go to the gym.

I definitely like this place. It has everything that I need to become physically fit. They also have classes for seniors via Silver Sneakers.
