CrossFit has always intimidated me, so it was almost comical when a few friends invited me to join them for a workout at United. I reluctantly agreed but was HOOKED 30 minutes in. It was super challenging… but fun! Since day one, the coaches have been so encouraging and helped me push myself a little further each time. Nick and Gage check in regularly and consistently offer ways to improve my mechanics without making me feel like a burden. The members of United have all been so welcoming and uplifting… and it’s truly been a joy to be on this fitness journey with them. I also love the app that lets you sign up for classes and get a peek at the upcoming workout.I can’t recommend United enough. It’s truly a gift to be a part of this fantastic community.

From the management, facility, community, coaching, and environment, United gets 5 stars in every area. When I started doing crossfit, I was VERY skeptical and had a long past with hating fitness. United has broken every negative perception I had when I joined, and has helped me fall in love with fitness again.

I’m a new member and little bit of a fitness junkie, I’m from raleigh and have been to most gyms in the area either as a member or through passes. I can honestly say without a doubt this is the most welcoming and kind gym I’ve ever stepped foot into. Not only that, but their workouts, routine & trainers are all top notch. I’ve noticed a difference in my strength and overall performance within just a few short weeks of joining. If you are considering checking United out, especially if you’ve ever been intimidated by a CrossFit gym, I can only promise that you’ll be glad you did.

I'm new to CrossFit and am coming from an extended exercise hiatus. The coaches and the community at this place are phenomenal, providing a lot of guidance and encouragement along the way. I imagine this is true for many CrossFit gyms but something about this place gets my out of shape self out of bed at a ridiculous time in the morning to subject myself to bodily suffering.

I’ve been at United for over 6 months now. For years, I had wanted to try CrossFit but was a bit intimidated. I immediately felt at home. All the coaches are knowledgeable and friendly. I look forward to each workout and being pushed everyday to be a better version of myself. I highly recommend United to anyone looking for a CrossFit gym and a great community!

Great gym for people no matter where you are on your fitness journey. The coaches are very personable and care for your wellbeing. They push you yet work to ensure you are being safe in your movements. The community is top tier. Everyone is encouraging and helps you strive to improve. I highly recommend at least giving this gym a try.

Before becoming a member at United I worked out only when the Army forced me to or while playing sports. I've now been a member for 1 year and have never worked out as consistently as I have in the last year because showing up to a class is so much more than just a workout - it is fun, challenging, competitive, relational.The atmosphere at United is really amazing - I would recommend it to every one I know looking for a gym.

The best gym (CrossFit or not) in the area. The coaches are incredible, the programming is world-class, and the amazing people are what make it a special place. This is the rare kind of gym that will make anyone feel simultaneously welcomed and challenged - no matter their level of fitness. Couldn't recommend it any higher.

Great coaching, supportive community, progressive programming, challenging workouts scaled to your level. My favorite thing about United is that all I have to do is show up and do the workouts.
