On Sunday, 11 April 2021 the Boyertown hosted a blood drive for the American Red Cross of eastern Pennsylvania. I am not a member just a Red Cross volunteer. The building is bigger than it looks from the outside. The staff was friendly and helpful. The Boyertown YMCA's hours are Monday through Friday 5am to 8pm, and Saturday-Sunday 7am to 3pm. Stop in for a workout today.UPDATE: April 3, 2022. Here again for another Red Cross blood drive in the gym. The friendly staff is very accommodating.

Very good place for kids and families, YMCA do some events throughout the year such as trick or treat for Halloween or some other events. My son goes there for swimming classes, instructors are super nice and cheerful and try thier best. I'd suggest to have a membership card that has the barcode so I can have easily check-in when I go because in the morning is super crowded at the front desk.

Had a really rough weekend. So thankful to have a place to get a safely social distanced workout! The staff is always so friendly and helpful everytime I go to this branch.

We just signed up for a family membership and already love it! Fitness Center is great, and I cannot even begin to say how wonderful it is to have Child Care to watch my kids while I workout. I always struggled to find time to get to the gym because I never found a time that worked with the kids. The Y has made consistent workouts possible! I am looking forward to workout classes and swim lessons in the very near future. My two-year-old approves too. She did not want to leave her new-found friends today!

Basketball court is awesome...when it’s open. A lot of the time, there is too much going on in there every day that isn’t even basketball-related, so they force you to leave. Weight room is pretty good. Pool is kinda shallow and too many rules, although it is a comfortable temperature, not too cold. The rule about the jacuzzi in there is really stupid. Signing in is easy, they just scan your membership card. I recommend going to the basketball court early in the afternoon, they always close half of it or even the whole thing later in the night for some stupid activity.

If you want to take your young kids to this indoor pool, be prepared for a list of rules that will suck the fun out of your day: Don't climb the railing (what they really mean is don't touch), don't jump/flip/dive/ drop/ in the deep end except feet first and even then we might whistle at you for it, don't use the start marks (it's only for the swim team and for lessons only - not for members who actually have paid a membership fee), don't sit on the pool ladder for even a second, don't play on the ramp. In addition kids younger than 16 can't use the hot tub, can't be in the pool with a parent and learn how to swim because they are forced to wear a vest at all times. These are just a few of their RULES. If you have kids who like to PLAY in the pool this is not the place for them. This pool is for swimming teams, lessons, adults who want to do laps and elderly people who come for exercise and rehab.

a great weight room with very helpful trainers! The basketball courts are really good and the floor is perfect for any type of running or stopping on a dime. The pool Is very clean and other than a few simple rules, you can still have a lot of fun! It is very easy to sign in and is very cheap for what you are paying for. all the weight room equipment is safe and work wonders on your muscles.
