I take Tang Soo Do karate at Top Kick there and the class is wonderful. Master White and his instructors take time to really teach the fundamentals of this martial art as they make it fun. A great class!

I can use most of the gyms in the area and this one is my favorite gym! I love that there is a nice mix of people (young to old and small to large). Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable about nutrition and using the gym. I especially love my trainer Luke Kline. I’ve lost 40lbs since working with him and ran my first 5K. He knows so much information that we are constantly doing new and different workouts that are getting me into a more healthy lifestyle. And, I’ve never really been a gym lover but I might be somewhat converted 😊 You need to check this place out!!!

Nice gym, lots of options on equipment and classes. Jeremy makes the most amazing smoothies at the smoothie bar!

Hometown kind of gym. Classes get a bit stale. Looks like they have a lot of children's activities. Hate the sauna, im used to a dry eat.

My son takes Top Kick Karate and my daughter was attending Academy of Movement, both of which reside at Colonial Fitness. Since we were there so much anyway, I also got a membership so I could work out there at the same time (a lot of parents seem to do this, actually). I've been very happy with the quality of their equipment, the size of the facility, and the number of available classes that you can walk into anytime you choose. I was also very happy to find out that even though they do not work with my insurance company's program that offers a discount for health club membership, they were very happy to match the price I would be paying if they did. This makes it a very affordable and convenient option for me.

This gym is fantastic! Plenty of machines and weights, and a lot of classes (these skew majority female, I felt pretty out of place as a guy). No meat market vibe, everything is very clean and in good repair, most machines are new.

If you love group fitness classes, this gym offers a well-balanced schedule, lots of variety, and truly top-notch instructors! They are constantly making you smile, and their energy is contagious. The rooms are large and comfortable, with plenty of equipment (cardio, free weights, machines, etc.) for everyone. People of all shapes, sizes, ages, and athletic abilities are made to feel welcome here. The gym, overall, is very clean (and newly renovated), rarely crowded, and the staff is super friendly. As a college student, I utilized the discounted summer membership, which worked perfectly for me; they were also very flexible with freezing and reactivating my membership during shorter breaks from school. I've tried out other local gyms (on both ends of the spectrum), and I always found myself missing Colonial... this gym had everything I needed, and I would recommend them in a heartbeat!

Better than other local gyms. I'd recommend it to anybody looking for a gym with a friendly staff, great machines, and tons of classes.
