The best team of trainer-owners I've met. Friendly, familiar, and results driven. I suppose you could come here and sustain some anonymity, but with such gorgeous people at Steven and Sam, why would you want to? Parking and access is easy and equipment availability has always be great when I have been in the mornings. Pricing is more than reasonable for what you get.

After being a member at Gold's, Planet Pizza - I mean Fitness, and Body Zone...I gotta say this is the best one. With BZ coming in at a close 2nd. And this is simply because DU is clean, very organized, well kept and friendly. They learn your name. I don't know how, but they do it. This gym is newly located on the 3rd floor. And soon to occupy the 4th as well. That alone tells you it is for those who don't mind a little effort to gain results.

Excellent facility and staff. Unlike the previous reviewer I go to the gym to workout. If you want a massage go to a place that specializes in that area. Down Under is always impeccably clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. The gym area is well organized and they have every option for training that a large big box gym has to offer. I love the heavy bag training room. Mixing in some boxing to my cardio is not an option at any gym I have belonged to in the past. It is never crowded and they run some popular group fitness classes. The certified trainers are wonderful to work with and really take a personal interest in your progress. Overall a great experience with a small hometown vibe! Highly recommend!

I just had the most horrible customer service experience at Down Under Sports and Fitness. I purchased a groupon for a massage, it took me over 6 weeks to make an appointment because every time I called, I received a voice mail. Then when they do finally call back they told me both times, several weeks apart, that their massage therapist just quit. I can see why, if they are this awful to their customers, I can't even fathom how terrible they are to their employees. So they finally had a time slot available in 2 weeks, so I made the appt. Seems terrible they are selling these Groupon they do not have staff to fulfill.Down Under Sports and Fitness called me to confirm my appt and ask me for the Groupon voucher number. I was driving home from work and asked that they call me back in an hour. (Granted the Groupon voucher specifically say to present upon arrival.) I specifically stated before we hung up the phone I was definitely coming to my appt. Then a minute later the owner called me back and said that my Groupon was revoked, to call Groupon for my money back and hung up the phone on me. I tried calling back to discuss and they continually hung up the phone one me. I was shocked a business can continue like this.I called Groupon for a refund and Groupon informed me that a business can not ask for the Groupon voucher number prior to the service. If the voucher number is given prior to the service, the business could redeem the voucher and not provide the service. In my opinion, I fear that this may be happening. It's terrible. So, am I really supposed to stop driving one a 4 lane high way in rush hour traffic to accommodate them, I am the customer. My voucher was in my purse, in the backseat. It's makes no sense why they require the voucher number before if they are a legitimate business. If I don't have a Groupon when I show up, I simply pay for the service I made the appt for. Otherwise why would I make the appt.I would stay away from this business. Do not join this gym, do not purchase a Groupon from them, something is really fishy here..They are located at VF Outlet. Avoid Avoid Avoid!!

I love Down Under Fitness. Sam and Steve are great owners! They are always helpful, kind and friendly. It is never crowded and a great value! I was on the fence of joining a gym and I'm really glad that I chose Down Under! Keep up the great work Sam and Steve!
