Iron Physique gym has a great community of people who are at different places in their fitness journeys. The great thing about Iron Physique Gym is that it maintains its more classic roots for serious strength and conditioning, yet offers inclusivity for all types of fitness goals.

I recently switched to Iron Physique from the Rochester Athletic Club and so far have been very pleased with my decision to switch gyms. The variety of machines is much better than the RAC. For example, Iron Physique has several preacher curl machines, a standing lateral raise machine, a hack squat sled, standing calf raise machine, and many more not offered at the RAC. I typically workout between 430-6 and have no issue finding a bench press or squat rack, it doesn't get too crowded despite not being a massive space. The workout area stays pretty clean, and all the machines are in good shape minus the front pulldown machine (handles are messed up). Only reason I can't give 5 stars is the showers. They're honestly a little gross, tile is cracking, some mold or discoloration in the corners, and the drain cover doesn't even cover the drain. So there's just a hole in the ground the water goes down. I wouldn't go in there without flip flops for sure. I rarely shower at the gym though so this isn't a huge issue. They're not unusable, just reminds me of the showers in my freshman dorm at college lol.

I just got a membership here and I love it! The staff is great, it's clean and the 24 hour access is great! The key fob is 100% worth it. I have not yet encountered any problems with too many people using the machines or not being able to get a squat rack or not having access to something I need. It is a very well equipped gym. I love the large amount of dumbells and the extensive range of machines. I've also noticed that all the members contribute to keeping things running smoothly. People are very respectful of the space and other members, put things back, clean the equipment, don't make excessive noise, re-rack their weights, etc. There are also lots of different people with different goals and experience! You do not have to be a lifting expert to join this gym. It's beginner friendly and extreme bodybuilder friendly. 10/10 would recommend!!! Random perk I also love: they have a little mini fridge that you can leave things in!

Awesome, awesome gym. I was visiting from out of state and needed a spot with a good selection of kettlebells and space to use them. Mike at the desk was friendly and welcoming. People willing to help if you need it but will leave you alone if you don't. Excellent selection of equipment-- everything you need and nothing you don't. Probably the best strength-centered gym I've ever been to.

The fact that it is 24/7 and has new showers makes this gym. I work 2nd shift and am able to come in after. During the night (1am) it's pretty slow, during the day 8am-10pm it's very busy. Lots of strong people come here and that's great. Everyone is friendly. Recommended!!

The best hard-core gym I have been to. This place is clean, well kept and has a community and culture that is friendly and supportive. They also have a very nice selection of specialty bars and equipment including Texas deadlift and squat bars, ssb, football bar, log, yoke, farmers handles and more.

Unique and effective equipment. A 24/7 gym that celebrates strength, body building, lifting heavy etc.I've been on their month to month contract and purchased a personal training package. The prices are really reasonable. The trainer has been in the industry for a long time and gives solid feedback around nutrition (with room for flexibility) and recommends solid and functional exercises. It can feel intimidating to walk in there because the members prioritize building muscle and most members seem to have a solid routine. However, no one has made me feel less than for just starting out. I've enjoyed my experience thus far.
