This is a great gym. There are so many strong people who work out here, but I never felt uncomfortable or intimidated. It’s such a welcoming feeling, and the equipment selection is amazing. Also, they keep everything super clean, spacious and user friendly!

Used this gym on a free trial for a week while visiting family in Oregon. I wish we lived here so this could be my home gym. The staff was friendly and I never had an issue accessing the weights or machines I needed. The fellow clientele were friendly and the number of women in the weight room was both comforting and inspirational for my fitness journey. If we stay in this area on future visits I would certainly come back here and purchase a visitor pass.

I had the pleasure of going to WCC for a week as I visited my family in Salem. From my 4 visits, I would say that this is probably the best gym I've seen in the PNW. I was on a free trial during the week but the weekly pass was only $25, which is great for the facilities.Speaking of which, the facilities are excellent - a few oly platforms, several squat racks, several bench and a large number of iso machines and dumbell racks. I'm not going to lie, I didn't expect something this solid. The staff were great, the crowd was a pleasant mix of serious lifters and amateurs, the atmosphere was welcoming. Also appreciated the music being kept at a volume where your own earbuds could drown it out - not that music was bad, but coming from Equinox it was a nice change. Everything kept clean and wiped down and nice. A great place for people who take lifting seriously.

Anything and everything you need. Plenty of space, the cardio, and weight lifting equipment are segregated, which is nice. Bathrooms are always clean, and the sauna is a plus when it's working. Parking can be a little crazy during rush hour

Clean facility with extremely polite staff. I had to take a break during part of the pandemic where I cancelled my membership, but they were my first choice when coming back to gym use due to the environment being so welcoming. For the facility and equipment options available, I feel their price is perfect!

This is an awesome gym. There's a review buried in these reviews that implies something about the personal trainers and since that implication made me pause before joining, I want to address it (ONLY from my limited perspective! I'm not denying someone's lived experience!).Yes, the personal trainers use physical cues with some of the clients. I've watched the training sessions on multiple occasions now while I worked out. Having been a personal training client myself for nearly two years, nothing I saw made me pause even momentarily.Physical cuing is a powerful tool and honestly, it's needed at times if the client simply cannot understand the verbal cues you are giving. A personal trainer seeing improper form and deciding "Oh well, close enough" instead of addressing it by every means possible isn't a personal trainer you want around. I've seen these physical cues used with people presenting as both male and female genders. As a rule, people socialized female in this culture, tend to engage in more physical touch. For that reason, depending on the information a personal trainer has about a specific client, that trainer may use physical prompting more often on female clients.End of the day, the gym has been great. Friendly staff, clean and well kept equipment, friendly clientele. We go there, we work out hard, we go home. I've recommended it to two people at this point. It's a good experience and I would highly encourage people looking for a well equipped, awesome gym to check it out.

You want a gym? not what we are used to in Salem? This is your gym. Been a gym rat for 25+ years and I was pumped just getting in there, pumped like the first time u workout in hs at the school gym. The energy can be felt, the machines are packed in as much as can safely be done. Dumb bells a plenty, attachments a plenty, and plenty of weights (no more searching of two of 3 5 pound plates that are at a gym). If u want to feel excited about not just working out but even just being in the gym you got to check this place out

This gym is amazing! The staff are really friendly and knowledgeable and they even ask how your day is! The atmosphere is by far the best, and everyone there including the members that go there are super approachable and friendly, and you feel at home. They have the best selection of supplements there, as well as really nice apparel there too! Highly recommend this gym!

Clean facility, great staff and overall a great environment. In comparison to other gyms in the area WCS is simply the best. Not only am I greeted when I get there by my name?!! Like where else do you see that? But whenever I have any questions I feel confident enough to ask anyone there for help. 10/10!
