Had an amazing time training at The Bar Athletic Club. The owner was amazing and super accommodating. Perfect for my powerlifting needs. The graffiti on the wall gave it a dope comic book vibe. It was clean, well taken care of, and a perfect setup, couldn’t ask for a better vacation gym. If you’re in San Angelo, it’s a MUST.

The Bar is a great place to reach any of your fitness goals. There is more than enough room if you lift by yourself or with a group. It can facilitate all types of training, and everyone there is very encouraging.I try to stop in anytime I am in San Angelo. They have a great selection of supplements.

I have been in San Angelo for almost 7 years and have bounced around to several different gyms. The Bar is by far the best. Tommy is super helpful and knowledgeable. They have everything you need to get in shape, or just get stronger and the since of community is awesome. I'm glad I have finally found my gym home in San Angelo

This is by far one of the greatest gyms I've ever been a part of. They have excellent equipment for all of your powerlifting, strongman, and general lifting needs. They have a great variety of specialty barbells and multiple sets of calibrated competition plates, multiple squat racks, and a few competition combo racks. I cannot speak highly enough of this gym and I hope you give it a chance!

Great gym, great management, the owner actually cares about the members and is working to keep building the gym and improving it, great hours, has everything you could need to get in shape or reach whatever your goals are. Couldn’t be happier to have joined.

I've been to gyms all over the country and this one is one of the best. The owner is super friendly. The fact that it's 24/7 helps big time. They have a good selection of equipment and enough where I've never had to wait for a rack. And above all, power lifter friendly.
