Went there when I was younger, learned some pretty basic skills. But I would have a new coach every time I came to practice it was never really the same coach for two to three practices in a row. That kind of messed with me since I learned better with some more than others. Other than that I can’t complain.

Unsafe. Adults from the toddler class getting in screaming matches in front of children and no one did anything about it. Powerhouse seemed more eager to please the parents that were yelling at each other than the safety of the kids & parents who weren’t involved. Incident happened 6/24/23.

(5 stars reserved for outstanding service/products). Great gymnastics and tumbling gym. There are waiting lists for classes, but very well worth it.

BEWARE: THEY LOST MY CHILD, At first glance it looked like they had everything under control but when my daughter was instructed to put on her shoes she wandered to the front door where she had seen her classmate go and just walked right through the front inside door by herself. The coach only had 5 kids under her possession, I don’t believe it’s hard to keep track of just 5 toddlers. I thank the mothers who cared for her until we went to the front. This happen in a span of 3 minutes from when we walked from the second floor to the first, we were waiting for our daughter at the the door by the end of the food bar because that’s where the coach was at. They have no accountability towards their students, I pray nothing bad happens to any of the children under their possession.

Terrible customer service my son was on a wait list for months to get into a class. a spot finally opens for him so I call and discuss with them that I would like him to go to a free day before paying the $250 for registration to see how he does. They give me an extension and when I call to enroll him they have no notations of it and now my son has to be put on another wait list.

The building is clean and orderly. Great experience with coaches and front desk communications for MDO program. We heard about this place through word of mouth, happy parents and a birthday party our son was invited to (that he thoroughly enjoyed).

I went to Powerhouse gym with my sister and her granddaughter to check it out. The first person I came across was Sarah she was so friendly and encouraging to the kids. My grandniece has always been afraid of the parachute at other places but Sarah told the kids what she was doing and had so much excitement in her voice after telling my sister no like three times she told her grandma she wanted to try it. Then we met Raina who was on the trampoline and explained to the kids they would go to the square start jumping and sing the ABC’s so with confidence once again she ventured out to unfamiliar territory I believe because Raina gave her instructions and was so sweet to all the kids. As we walked out Alicia and Angela both knowledgeable and gave me information times dates and costs which turns out to be half of what we currently spend on a gym with much less equipment and we have been there for 4 months and not once had the wonderful interaction we had today. And it wasn’t because we were checking it out. I paid attention how the staff interacted with other children parents and grandparents. I have 3 granddaughters and I will encourage them to try out Powerhouse thanks.

My daughter started at age 4. She has really enjoyed her experience so far. The gals have all been helpful at the counter when we have needed anything. Coaches have all been friendly. Some are more structured and helpful with technique than others. Facilities are clean and parents are offered a couple of viewing options.Areas of improvement: Coach turnover seems high. We've been attending for 6 months and we've had 4 different coaches during this time frame. Limited classes available for homeschool families with older children. I'd love to see a daytime class for my boys to attend during the week. Especially for children with sensory issues. Our class lately, has not started on time, therefore, the girls are missing out on 5+ min of time. Price is a little steep $95/month (4 classes, sometimes 5 if your day lands on an extra week)...seems to be the going price for anything here in San Antonio (we are a military family and have lived in larger cities where prices are not this expensive). No make ups are offered and no refunds, which, I believe encourages parents to send their sick children to the lesson so they don't lose out on the money. Parking is fine during the day hours but I have experienced the evening parking and they need a larger lot. There are definitely areas for improvement. I hope management will read and evaluate for the future.

It's Sunday evening and first time attending a Birthday Party 🎈🎉🎂 for my granddaughter at a gym. The party hosts were hospitable. Very nice and helpful. Reserved from 6 to 8 pm. About One hour and 15 minutes of gymnastics play. Parents can leave their child at the party or stay and observe from the balcony. Towards the end of the gym time, parents can come down to take pictures. Afterward, head to the room where its birthday party 🍕, 🍰, and presents time. The kids had a great time.
