Snap is open 24/7 and is not packed like most larger gyms. It has all the equipment that I need to to get my workouts in.

The staff is very friendly and the gym is very clean. While it is a smaller gym, there have not been more than five people in the gym each time that I have gone.

I was a bit apprehensive at first. Place looked small and was concerned with overcrowding, but it’s been a great experience so far. Expected evening traffic was far less than what I had anticipated and the associates are always cleaning the equipment and workout areas.

Lack of chest equipment is a main issue. If you’re lucky enough to steal the squat rack then you can do flat, but then it’s a risk with getting a bench in there safely to do incline or shoulder press. There is a smith machine but it’s not true BB work. Then there’s just availability of basic workout equipment. Tons of stuff gets moved around, stupid people keep stealing the Bb clips. And I have to pay $50 or something to even see how much I weigh? Never been to a gym without a scale.I usually go right before I go to work and so being able to change into uniform is pretty nice but the bathroom is always locked by someone for quite some time. Idk if everyone that works out here has IBS or something, but I’m usually able to squeeze in 1 out of every 5 times (and this is at 6AM). I’ve even seen the trainer use the women’s bathroom (good thing some woman didn’t forget to lock it).Overall, when I use this gym it usually starts my day off badly because it’s just unreliable on what’s available. It’s a gym somewhere between a yoga studio and planet fitness, so definitely have a backup plan if you are seeking competition type equipment.Great gym if you don’t expect/plan your workout routines and just wing it every time or just want to do cardio.Best thing about this gym is that it’s close to my house and I don’t have to use Culebra.

I just signed up 3 days ago and this is already my favorite gym in San Antonio. I’m a member at Golds, LA Fitness, TruFit, Crunch, Planet Fitness, and this gym is even if it’s small is my favorite. It’s 24 hours, extremely clean, & I like that not a lot of people are here when I come to workout. The staff is so nice. There are disinfecting wipes at every corner & lots of trash bins. There’s nobody hogging machines like in other gyms. No “gym bros” who slams weights or not put them back. Everyone is respectful of the space. The best part is the hydro massage after a workout.

I highly recommend Snap Fitness Alamo Ranch! This small gym atmosphere is so unassuming. I have been at this gym 6 years. After touring about 4 other gyms, this felt like home. When I expanded my family to include Snap's trainer, Jody, I was not disappointed! He is extremely knowledgeable at his trade and very enjoyable to be around. I never had a trainer before and wish I could clone him to go wherever I go. Do not miss an awesome opportunity to seek Jody out.

Cant say enough great things about this gym. Extremely friendly staff, clean, organized and well maintained equipment. Add on 24 hour access and the hydro massage chair as a cherry on top.

Great gym and staff!!Jody is a great trainer and patient! I worked out under Jody's guidance and instruction during my first week and I can definitely feel my fitness level increasing steadily. I recommend you try Jody regardless of age to achieve your fitness goals.

Snap is a family owned community gym. They have all of the amenities that you want for a modestly sized gym. I found everyone to be friendly, especially Atiya who walked me through the membership process. I especially enjoyed the Hydro massage. Just wish that I didn’t have to pay extra for it. Being a senior citizen That is extra cost unfortunately. I will just enjoy the 30 days that was given to me as a courtesy.
