Gym is awesome & the owner is even better. The gym is always clean (huge plus for me). This is a homegrown local business whose owner truly cares about his members & his community. Stop through either location (there’s one in Converse right outside JB Randolph) & get that membership.

Started going to this gym when COVID was really bad. I liked that it wasn’t super crowded and I had 24 hour access as I often workout late in the evening. Has everything you need for a great workout, clean, and if you need it PT happy to help you in your fitness journey.

Tried to sign up with them because I would rather support local businesses. I followed the instructions on the email when I signed up online to come in based on the hours of availability. But each time I did no one from management was available. I even came in earlier and earlier. I attempted it three times and could not catch anyone. It was frustrating to say the least. I wish them well in their business venture. But I gave up on this place.

Management staff is highly unprofessional and consistently unavailable to address concerns/discrepancies. I attempted to cancel my membership back in November 2022 (I have the emails) and despite confirming they cancelled my membership I was still charged for December 2022 and January 2023. Eventually after unsuccessful attempts to reach anyone by phone, I went in person and spoke with a staff member who verified the email traffic from November and cancelled my membership on the spot. I’m still waiting to hear back from the owner about getting reimbursed but I’m not holding my breath. I get the impression that the 1604 location of Texas Muscle & Fitness LLC is a sinking ship and won’t be around much longer if it continues moving in the same direction.

I’ll change this review when I actually hear from someone that works here or somehow get lucky and see them working at the gym. I signed up online about 2-4 weeks ago but work had me away for a bit so I never was able to go after signing up. Now I’m back and I just can’t seem to ever meet anyone that actually works here. Can’t get ahold of or anything. Do I just start going??? Don’t I need a door pass? Like how do I get out of this contract?? Because it’s not like I need people working there but I do need someone in order to get the things I need. So either tell me how to cancel and no longer get charged or maybe let me know when or if anyone is working so I can can get at least a door pass and make sure I’m not doing the wrong thing.

went here for the first time today & loved it! the owner greeted us immediately and was super friendly and accommodating to get us a guest pass. they definitely had a lot of machines i've never seen at commercial gyms before that i can't wait to try out the next time i come. it was also a super chill atmosphere with everything you need to get a good workout in without having to deal with a crowd!! highly recommend and will def be getting a membership

This gym is great if you want to be in and out due to the fact that there is hardly ever a crowd. The equipment is clean and the manager has a company that comes in often to clean the facility. Amazing atmosphere! And I also met some outstanding trainers who do personal training at the facility. A big plus is that the gym is 24/7

Awesome gym and great environment. Gym is never crowded even at 5 pm. There is also a speaker you can connect to play your own music. Owner Shawn is very understandable and always there to help. 10/10 recommend this gym!

This gym is amazing!!! It has everything you need and more ! Love the atmosphere and wonderful people that work there and also a great trainer that's will to help with any questions you may have !!
