Great employees at this location! As a beginner, I was very lucky to receive help from Sam, the coach for my belay training. He is very patient and solid with the lessons; and very professional at selecting suitable shoes and harness in the stores for me!Lots of thanks to Tatiana and Priscilla as well who helped me on the phone and in person so I can schedule my training and test, also helped me get the pass I need!Highly recommend this place to others, especially beginners who needs lots of help and support!

Of their 3 locations this may be the biggest. There is a huge bouldering area upstairs, and the rope walls downstairs are huge. Their lead climbing class is really great...3 hrs of learning and actual climbing...and falling (unlike Vertical Hold where the 1st class you take is all mock-lead). The lead-only cave area is massive and fun. The grades are honest and the routes are good.

This is a super nice gym! Spacious and clean. The bouldering area is separate from the rope area which is great! It is also a minute walk to Draft Republic for a post-climb beer.

One of the best climbing gym I’ve been to! Much less people compare to the Mira Mesa location. Super clean and modern with lots and lots of walls to climb! With great deals on Groupon. You won’t be disappointed to come climb here! Love it.

This is the best rope climbing gym in North County SD. The staff are welcoming and the setters are creative. They have gear rentals for those who need it, as well as instruction on top rope and lead climbing. Plan some extra time and let the staff know early if you want/need to take a belay test.

This is an incredible destination Climbing gym. The staff here are incredibly friendly, they actually remembered my name the second time I went in. I climbed here about six times during my week in San Diego. It was so sad to leave, the people who climb here are very lucky. The facility is beautiful with tons of top roping and lead. There's bouldering on two floors, the first floor has a small, sparsely set compy style set. Upstairs there's a massive slab, a giant island, and a cave in the back. The quality of the setting is excellent. They set very hard here, lots of big burly moves, shoulder kind of stuff, a couple of dynos. The facility itself is gorgeous, the bathrooms are immaculate, the showers are luxurious, they have a sauna. The people in the gym were super friendly, it's next to a college in a safe neighborhood. There's just nothing negative I could say about this gym. I can't wait to go back next time I'm in San diego.

The location of this gym in north city is a big plus, especially because I can always go down and get some cookies after I finish climbing or some ice cream if the itch needs scratching. This is a newer facility and so most of the amenities are working. (Rip sauna) The community is really fun and the location design is a bit more straight laced then the mission valley Mesa rim. This is my home climbing gym so I have to represent. Love this place.

I have membership at the gym and love it! The staff is super friendly and nice. The climbing routes are generally open especially on off peak hours like really early in the morning or evenings on the weekends. Also enjoy the yoga classes and the open windows around the bouldering area. Since the gym is nearby other stores, I can go to the brewery next door or enjoy the farmers market on Tuesdays.

Visited with my two daughters and we were really impressed. A giant complex for all skill levels. I was impressed to see that yoga classes and cardio equipment are offered. Please note belay lessons are only for 14 years and up. Friendly and helpful staff.

Really amazing place, very nice, helpful staff, and very inclusive of LGBT+ people! The restrooms are gender neutral (see photos). The place is very busy and loud on weekends but it is still very clean. I highly recommend coming if you think you might be interested in climbing!
