Anytime Fitness Sand Canyon

Gym is great, management and trainers are always friendly especially to newcomers,it also has all the essentials for a good workout at any part of the day. However we pay a good amount of money per month just to not have a scale in the gym.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Anytime Fitness. I went in on February 27, 2023, to cancel my membership. The manager, Lisa Pacheco, assured me that my membership would end on April 24,2023, after an upfront payment of $103. Despite the lack of formal cancellation paperwork, Lisa's verbal assurance were clear and convincing that my membership would be cancelled. However the charges continued for 4 months totaling to $208. I came back to to seek clarification and a resolution. I was told that I never canceled my membership, that there was no evidence that I canceled. I was not aware that I needed to sign a cancellation form. I explained that I talked to Lisa and my attempts to reach out to Lisa were met with vague responses. I requested a refund but my request was denied. BEWARE. Lack of accountability and transparency.

The gym itself is an excellent space Its’s not huge and overwhelming. It has every machine you need, even a punching bag!! It’s clean and always has paper towel and disinfectant restocked for members to wipe down before or after use.The staff is professional, friendly, and super knowledgeable. Sign up for group, one on one, yoga or boxing sessions and you will not be disappointed. Staff takes the time to get to know you to better help you reach your personal goal.I’m glad we found Anytime Fitness! I do group sessions. The workout is a great stress reliever and truly therapeutic. Best way to get the endorphins going!!Highly recommmemd for all! No matter age or how much you are in or out of shape. You’ll have a positive experience!

Rude management, i called to make an appointment to tour the gym, the person helping on the phone seemed friendly. When I arrived, I waited until the employee was off the phone and then approached and told her of my appointment to tour the gym, and she seemed annoyed and asks “well what did you want to see?”, I would think that your staff would be competent to give a walk through of amenities and membership perks. At that point, i could tell my business was not welcomed and signed up with another local gym where I walked in without an appointment and was given a comprehensive tour and felt welcomed

Signed a year contract because I was pretty certain that I was staying in Santa Clarita for a while, and there are Anytime Fitness's everywhere. My job decided to randomly move me out of state 3 months later. I explained to the owner that the nearest anytime fitness was 40 minutes away and that I understand that I signed a full year contract but if there was any way I could pay an early termination fee, and she just kept stating that since I was technically within 25 miles of an Anytime Fitness, she can force me into paying the full contract and was not willing to negotiate. She was extremely rude during the whole process, and the reason I usually go with small businesses is because usually you feel like you're apart of a community with them and that they actually care about their customers. In this case though, it seems that the owner's see each member as just another payday, and only care about your monthly dues. There are two other great small gym's in Canyon Country, and if I moved back I would definitely support them before giving any more business or recommending anyone to the Sand Canyon Anytime Fitness.

The whole team is awesome! Sasha is so sweet and got me signed up quickly, Raul’s fitness assessment was straight-forward and fit my schedule, and I even got a follow-up email from the manager, Lisa. I was surprised by some of the bad reviews on here and just want to say that that’s more on the perception and opinions of the member than the staff. To those 1-star members… no one owes you anything. You knew what you were signing up for. Try a more positive outlook? And finally, check yourself. 🤷🏼‍♀️On to the facility…This gym is soo much better than overcrowded, unclean LA Fitness. There’s always a barbell available. They have the best equipment and anything you’d need for advanced exercises, too. Private, super clean bathrooms stocked with soap and even hair dryers! Key fob entry and a safety debrief upon signup so you don’t have to worry about randoms coming in to steal your stuff or disturb you. The value of this gym far exceeds any other in Santa Clarita! Love the atmosphere here and availability of workout machines, whether it's cardio or weights, this is the place to get results! I workout here every week, at least 3 to 4 times, and they're open 24/7!Highly recommend! Clean! Good crowd too!

Amazing gym!! Open 24 hrs a day, staff is amazing, always helpful. There is always a staff cleaning/disinfecting. The members themselves always disinfect after using their machine. The gym has new equipment, more variety than my old gym.

It's a brand new gym, clean, and not crowded. It's a bit pricy but If you prefer to work somewhere that is not that busy then that's the place for you. There are some fees like maintenance fee that you're going to pay twice a year. Be careful with your contract and if you have decided that you wanna cancell your membership make sure you let them know at least a month before your contract is over. I did say it less than a month and they charged me for a whole month to let me go and it was in the time that gym was closed due to covid. They also say that if you bring a new member they'll give you a month for free, I brought two people and didn't receive anything. They said membership comes with a free training session, I didn't receive that either. These were the causes that I didn't go for another year in this gym other than that the gym itself is clean and cool. Restrooms and shower area was always clean and gym itself smell pretty cool. You can also get a drink from refrigerator and write down your name and they'll charge you later on. Staff, I didn't see them much but they were all cool and friendly.

Other than despising the music, ( I just prefer but classic rock and metal), I enjoy this gym. There's never too many people there at one time though I have noticed some people tend to not wash down the equipment they used. I do prefer the Saugus location over this one just because that was the first gym I went to. There's enough equipment to use even if it's a tad crowded, but not to much where you feel constricted in the space.
