Best martial arts and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu school in Santa Fe! Thomas Pless is one of the best instructors I’ve ever met. He is very detailed oriented. The health of his students is his main priority. The mat space is very generous and the mats are always clean! I highly recommend it for beginners and experts.

After a long lay off from training in the martial arts (due to many old injuries acquired through the years), I decided to take my 15 year old son to the Santa Fe Gracie Barra Academy about 2 years ago. My son has completely fallen in love with the art of Brazilian Jiujitsu. He has developed very effective and practical skills in self defense at a very rare and rapid pace. I attribute my son's progress not only to his passion for the art but in great part to the high level of instruction by Professor Thomas Pless, his many coaches, professional fighters, and the great people that he has had the privilege to learn and train with. I am very grateful to Professor Pless and the coaches at Santa Fe Fitness and Martial Arts/ Gracie Barra for embracing both me and my son as a part of the Gracie Barra Santa Fe family. 🙏💖👊Robert Gutierrez

Great place to train. Just wish I was in town for more then one day. Nice gym with plenty of mat space, banana bags, and a full cage. It is also attached to a gym so there is a full locker room with showers. There was a descent amount of upper belts there and the class was some great fundamentals before doing some live rolls. Thanks for letting me drop in tonight and looking forward to next time I am in town.
