Shelly is an amazing instructor! She is very caring and well educated and you can tell she has a true passion for her career. Shelly is always attentive to each individuals needs during the group class I attend. During private sessions, her dedication and undivided attention is above and beyond. You will not regret training under her.

I took MELT classes with Kerrie Bodendorf at The Pilates Studio. MELT is a technique that uses pressure from a foam roller and balls to release fascia anywhere in the body. After several classes with Kerrie, I went from feeling in pain and having no range of motion in my hips and shoulders, to feeling light and free, no pain at all. Kerrie is amazing at what she does. She explains the techniques in a way I could always understand, gave me individual pointers when I needed it, and led us through a series that left me feeling fantastic and pain free. I highly recommend taking any of Kerrie's MELT classes.

I have attended many MELT Method classes with Kerrie at the Pilates Studio and she is amazing! She is a highly skilled professional but so personable and fun to be with. And her dance fitness class is a blast! I had a little difficulty finding the place the first time but it's been so worth it! The studio is really beautiful. You wouldn't know it from the outside, but inside it's tastefully decorated and has a welcoming feeling. I love the soothing wall color. Nice bathroom too. And there are some awesome self-care goodies available for purchase or for great gifts if you want something you can't get in a regular store.

I attended my first MELT class with Shelly four years ago. I was skeptical that the MELT Method would really work. I did feel a difference after the first session, but at that time I didn't have any real pain. Shelly has been my Pilates instructor for the past five years. This past April, I aggravated my back and was in enough pain that I couldn't work out. Shelly suggested that I do a MELT session. She guided me through several techniques that definitely helped my back! I'm now a believer! It works and it's something I can do at home to relieve the pain when it flares up. I definitely recommend taking the class!
