I went once with a partner who has more yoga experience than me. And they we're more disappointed than me because the class did not feel like yoga expiriemces they had in the past.. I would describe the atmosphere as not very beginner friendly (at least in this class which was labeled as good for beginners) and very athletic vs spiritual (which might be a plus for some people). I'm sorry I can't remember which class it was. But it was very fast paced and hard to keep up with and neither of us felt very zen, and it was not supposed to be a fast flow class. I got a good workout! But it is not what we were looking for. Also the studio has gotten really popular and so the tiny city space was just crammed and there was really no space to stretch out without hitting the person next to you! If you decide to go, go early or you might get a really bad spot.

My husband and I have been members of two yoga studios and have attended classes from Illinois to Colorado. Brick City Yoga studio offers a balance of yoga classes that are focused on flow, strength and aerobics. The instructors are well …

I love all the classes at Brick City! Ashley is my favorite teacher, she’s great and always so helpful and calming in class :)

I’ve only been to one class but I saw two other classes and this place isn’t diverse at all which is odd considering the area it’s in. I didn’t feel comfortable or very welcomed/wanted. Don’t recommend for women of color if you’re looking for community. Besides that, the place is beautiful, organized and I love yoga now. I did want to leave this review in hopes someone there would see it and maybe make it a more welcoming place for black women if that’s something this place wants or cares about

I have really enjoyed each class I've taken at the studio so far. A wonderful yoga community, so glad it's in the neighborhood.

Brick City Yoga is such an asset. This is an inclusive, welcoming space. Classes are affordable (comparatively) and the studio frequently offers deals that make them even more affordable. This is a great place to slow down, stretch out, get grounded, and feel more connected with your community. The studio is spacious and comfortable. There is also a cute little shop up front that stocks some yoga accessories and attire.

First time here and took the Vinyasa Flow with Grace. The studio is quaint and clean. Grace’s instruction was cohesive. I appreciate she was student focused and provided just the right balance between challenging yourself and taking alternate positions. I will definitely be back again.

Brick City Yoga is one of my favorite places in Saint Louis. I started going to classes here a year ago and I am so grateful for the benefits it’s had for me personally. I feel stronger physically and emotionally. I’ve found a sense of community that I didn’t have before. I love that they are involved in making the world a better place. Classes are fairly priced and the studio has equipment to help make yoga practice accessible. The teachers are all wonderful and the variety of classes make it easy to find what you need, whether it’s a more intense flow or something more chill. I am so grateful we have a space like this in STL.

I had such a great experience at Brick City Yoga! I was in town for the weekend and searching for a drop-in class. I was choosing between BCY and another studio, and I chose correctly! Very welcoming and inclusive environment and the entire space is peaceful and clean. Our instructor Hannah was very friendly and her class was excellent. This will be my spot whenever I visit STL again.
