Fit City Gym

Great equipment and price. However, equipment is extremely beat up, you can tell the owners don’t even want to spend a penny to get basic things like clean yoga mats or functioning barbell clips. I wish they would invest more in this gym because it has a great location and atmosphere.

I've lived in St. Louis my whole life and as a young girl trying to progress on my fitness journey, Fit City has been amazing from an equipment standpoint but also the staff and community has always been friendly and comforting - which means a lot to me. I love Fit City and will be a member at long as I'm in St. Louis!

So I wish this gym was in Dallas. Every exercise my trainer has me doing I can do here because they have so much equipment. It’s spacious. I didn’t experience too many people crowded around. Only down side is 1. I couldn’t figure out how to turn the sauna on 2. There was no sanitizer in many of the dispensers. They do have soap and water so there’s that. The protein shakes were decently priced. I liked the one made by the older guy at the front, the younger guy not that much. Overall nice gym.

They raised prices 31% in February, literally 4.75x the rate of inflation — it’s shameful. A neighborhood gym taking advantage of inflation to price gouge it’s customers. They forget who enables their business to exist. I‘ll be looking elsewhere when my membership is up, and so should you. Can’t wait for the excuse in the reply, should be a good one. My money is on blaming employees and landlords. “We had to give the 2 people working the floor a $2/hr raise, so we increased your membership dues 31% ;)”

The gym was not bad but at times it could be overcrowded. I paid for a year membership which is way overpriced compared to other gyms. The membership continued to charge my cc for a year and half after my membership was up. I moved out of town and called when I realized I was being charged each month. I was told I needed to come in person to cancel the membership. They took my money don’t let them take yours too. I asked to have the owner call which I have seen in on occasion at the gym to no avail. This is how they treat patrons. Remember you can’t just ho online to cancel your membership.

I am a self diagnosed gym hopper, I tend to switch to different ones often. This gym is the only one that I've ever stuck with! The staff always makes you feel welcome and the community is unlike anything you'll find elsewhere.The gym itself is always clean and has the best equipment in the St. Louis area, trust me I've been to all of themWhether you are a bodybuilder, power lifter or just someone that wants to hit cardio a couple times a week this is the perfect place for you!

Everyone should def sign up to get the Free Day Pass to try things out. Folks at the front are just awesome people really made me feel right at home. Put in a good 2 hour exercise right on my Birthday. Will def be back in the near future ❤️
