Amazing coaches and owner. My daughter enjoys her classes there. She is in 4th grade and is a level 3. She got to compete at nationals this year, and the coaches were always at her side when needed. The YMCA is an absolute need if your gymnast wants to start gymnastics or is looking for a different place. I just love how kind all the coaches are! I definitely recommend it!!!

My kids have been taking classes at the gymnastics center For many many years. We love the coaches and the loving environment. My son LOVES ninja, he has been taking this class since it was first offered and asks to return each session. He leaves feeling strong and happy. It gives him a safe and fun place to climb and jump. Every week is something new and he always looks forward to it. His coach puts so much effort into her classes and always happily lets him show off his “skills” to her.

Front desk staff is nice and helpful, save your money and avoid the ninja class. There's no type of instruction and teacher doesn't help correct or show the kids how to do obstacles the correct way. I can't believe I paid 85 dollars for my kid to just play on equipment!

If your child wants to try gymnastics and you also want to use the gym, I think using the YMCA Gymnastics Center is an excellent route to take. Getting a YMCA membership allows for a considerable discount when signing your child up for gymnastics. I highly recommend the program. You do need to sign up early though, and be aware of the dates because classes fill very quickly. My child was in the gymnastics program for close to 2 years. The only downsides I saw were the inconsistencies of the instructors and the overwhelming smell of sweat. The sweat is to be expected - gymnasts don't get where they are without sweat (of course). However, my daughter repeated the Girls 1 class several times and each instructor graded her differently. She never made it out of Girls 1, which was understandable as she has ADHD and wouldn't stop talking instead of exercising. But it should have been a consistent message of what to improve, and every time she signed up the message changed based on who was teaching. Some people insisted she would definitely graduate to Girls 2, followed by not doing so. That was very frustrating and discouraging for my child, but this may be an isolated incident. Still, she enjoyed the program and it was a worthy investment.

The YMCA Gymnastics center is amazing. It is a great place for kids to learn gymnastics. The coaches are all great. The space is large and the equipment is excellent. This place is a real gem for the greater Toledo area.

Center is focused on gymnastics only and has classes and clinics for both YMCA members and non members alike. Great place for birthday parties as we have had our kids birthday parties here when they were little. They have classes for toddlers on up and of course for the advanced

Great place for children gymnastics. Staff was friendly and very helpful. There is space for the parents to wait for the classes to be over with if that is your thing. They also sell clothes in case the little one grew out of their last outfit.

My daughter has been doing gymnastics here for years. The popularity of the program unfortunately means it can be very difficult to get the times you want but the administrators do their best to satisfy those requests.

If you are a Y member, count your lucky stars to have such an excellent gymnastics program at such an affordable price. The coaches are wonderful and the rest of the staff is so helpful!
