Dave Fisher's Powerhouse Gym Torrance

Excellent gym for those who take lifting seriously, the staff are all very helpful and will give you great advice if desired. Dave is a great owner and very nice. There is tons of excellent equipment here and plenty of space to get in a great workout in a good environment. Its never been so packed that I can't get in the workout I want unlike other gyms such as 24 Hour Fitness and UFC Gym where everyone is just sitting around on equipment wasting time. I love the new edition of Dave Fishers Playground with all the calisthenics equipment outside I use it on every workout. This was the only gym in the South Bay I know of to stay open during the COVID lockdown fiasco and Dave is a legend for that! Only wish they had a water bottle refill station

Pretty cool gym where you can find beginners and pros all working out together. Tons of equipment and attachments for every situation. Trainers are legit. Love working out here.

If you want an unparalleled training environment and staff support unmatched in the industry, Dave's Powerhouse Torrance is the place for you. Issy the Manager is amazing Make sure to ask the super reasonable lifetime membership.

One of the best fitness studios I have ever been to! Best of all, the coaches and members are down-to-earth and just good people. I will remain at the Dave Fisher's again basically due to Real Results.

Great facility. They have a lot of equipment, nicely maintained, and good crowd. Met adage and he checked me in and welcomed me. Will def use facility again when I’m in town and need to get my powerlifting training in. Thank you.

From out of town and used the gym today for 20 dollars. Very nice facility, amazing selection of equipment. Liked using the outdoor section. Was nervous to go as I’m just starting to take my fitness very serious, felt judgement free to me!

....ssshhhh.....local treasure alert! ....this is a jewel vibe, amazing workout culture and super nice people....only come if u fit this profile. Old, young, serious or casual...this place will make u feel like you have a solid support group to target and reach your goals. Enjoy.

This is an awesome gym, we came from Seattle and stopped by to train and powerhouse did not disappoint. The atmosphere is amazing and to think of all the pros that have made it through there and such a wide variety of equipment what more can you ask for. We'll be back again and again!!

Really one of the only smaller not corporate gyms in the area. Coming from jersey/ny area where powerhouses are the best gyms, it was nice to find this gem. Great price. Great people and no annual fees.
