Powerhouse Gym Troy

To say my experience with this gym has changed my life quickly would be an understatement... I have always struggled terribly with maintaining a healthy lifestyle, working out, etc. Joining this gym has brought me support from the entire staff, and Junior's guidance has helped me to achieve a healthier lifestyle and to grow in my confidence in just a few short months. Thank you to the entire team over at Powerhouse of Troy!

Visiting from California. Highly impressed with the setup of this gym. Can go get a quick workout in, some cardio, grab supplements, and buy a cool stringer at the same place. One stop shop for fitness and supps. Cool staff and polite guest!

More than half these reviews are fake. This gym is money hungry and dirty. All the equipment is old or broken. This place definitely isn't worth the money here. He claims a 0$ enrollment fee then boom you get hit a 99$ processing fee. Lol good one. Scam & lies

Glorified hotel gym. Crunch fitness is 10x the gym for half the price (not that Powerhouse is expensive). No dead lift rack. No rubber weights. No normal bench press bar (inexplicably everything is a 55lb squat bar which is inconvenient as a woman). No TRX, No area for stretching, calisthenics, etc. (what there is is prob 10 square feet). Just outdated and inadequate for anyone trying to get better than a hotel gym workout. Machines are dated. Dumbbells are older than me and so on. Really, if you’re not Chaldean this isn’t your gym. Right wing owners too.

What I like about this gym is that’s it really clean and professional. The staff is amazing . The equipment is newer and they have updated expensive attachments for the last pull down machine that my old gym lifetime didn’t even have . The price are really reasonable for the month and would definitely recommend this family owned gym.

I have worked out in gyms all over this country and George, Junior and Rocky run the best operation anywhere! The gym is perfectly equipped for virtually any level of athlete. The pro shop is packed with clothes, food and supplements that are always the highest quality and in great demand. But more than anything, this is a family of caring knowledgeable friends that will find a place in your life.

This gym is VERY CLEAN. The staff continually wipes down the equipment and locker rooms. Frank, the manager, is genuinely a nice guy who remembers your name and takes the time to talk with you. They have a great assortment of equipment that's maintained and updated frequently. There are no iron head egos within the clientele. Everyone is friendly. In addition, the 24hour access makes working out convenient.

Powerhouse Troy is THE BEST GYM EVER!! I’ve been working out there for about 9 months. The staff is friendly all the time, the place is clean and well kept. George greets nearly everyone and knows their names & the personal trainers are all very knowledgeable and will work with you to reach your goals whatever they may be. Would recommend 100 out of 100 times.

I joined Powerhouse of Troy a couple months ago and absolutely love it. From the cleanliness, to the awesome staff, to the amazing personal trainers! The owners are extremely kind and welcoming. The machines are up to date and they have pretty much everything you would need to have a good workout. I love the personal training sessions because the personal trainers are very motivating to help you reach your goals. If you are looking for a new gym or a new personal trainer, check out this powerhouse!

Get ready for a hard “timeshare” close, it’s uncomfortable to say the least. As soon as you say no it’s like his personality shifts completely.... Always about the money.... says $0 down $19.99 a month but there is a $99.00 processing fee lol. Bait and switch hardcore!
