I did my internship at The Boxing Rink and loved every minute of it. I was able to get hands on training with Rock Steady Boxing for Parkinson’s, AAA Hockey, and Yoga! All of the coaches are personable and welcoming. There are so many programs here and is worth the time checking them out

Our high school hockey team has been training with Mike and his staff for the past several years. Our players love the workouts and the training they receive. The Boxing Rink adds another dimension to our off ice training and delivers the results were looking for. I highly recommend The Boxing Rink!

Love this gym and Mike is an amazing instructor! His classes and personal sessions have made such a difference not only in my physical but my mental well being. I always walk out of there challenged and proud I pushed myself. Add in the Yoga and its a PERFECT place to work out and find some zen as well !

I began working with Mike, Barb and Deb with our travel hockey teams. The Boxing Rink innovative training technique kept our 3 very diverse aged teams active, motivated and eager to come to the boxing rink weekly for fun and productive training sessions. At first I was very hesitant about having our teams participate in hot yoga training, however the first year we did it our injury rate plummeted and our stride mechanics, balance and team speed increased substantially. The on ice sessions with Mike are always a highlight of the team training - by incorporating the coordinated movement and core development of boxing with the balance and center of gravity awareness of skating, our stickhandling and ability to win board battles and protect the puck improved tremendously. If your team is looking to improve their on ice presence and compete level the Boxing Rink is a great source! On a personal note, after seeing how clean the facility is and how attentive the staff are, my wife and I began hot yoga on Wednesday evenings. Being a former hockey player that trained in the 80's and 90's with injuries that go with the sport - the yoga was difficult and unfamiliar at first, but I found my confidence while improving balance, flexibility and overall health through the sessions.

Super clean, and easy, free parking right out front. The trainers are friendly and well educated. Their special population programs are top notch, with Rock Steady Boxing for Parkinson’s, Senior Focus for elderly, and they are especially known for their off ice training program for hockey teams! The yoga studio is nice and toasty and a nice cozy room to practice. I love the private rental option too, if you want to just go in and do your own thing.

My son and I have taken several of the 8 week boxing courses, and we've been very happy with the overall experience of each class. The format of each class makes this accessible to most everybody allowing people of all fitness levels to benefit. The content offered is fantastic and Mike's ability to coach and help motivate is impressive (he's also very patient!). I highly recommend any of the 8 week boxing courses.

My first visit to the Boxing Rink I was apprehensive, 59 1/2 yrs. old and put on some weight; my daughter suggested I try this Boxing class, I love different types of workouts and thought I'd give it a try..... In February it'll be 5 yrs!Love Mike's passion, his way of helping you push yourself. He makes classes fun, but challenging. The mix of ages of the members, I love! Especially when the younger members tell me that I'm their role model lol!We are a family and always welcome the new members in.I highly recommend Boxing classes and a great balance is to try the yoga classes for balance and flexibility. Barb is a great instructor and helps the newcomers feel at ease, her classes leave you feeling calm and a sense of confidence.Come on in and see for yourself.Anne M.

Our daughter’s hockey team spent their summer training at The Boxing Rink. What a fantastic experience the girls had. The facility is clean, energetic & exceptionally staffed with knowledgeable trainers. The harder the girls worked, the more they enjoyed it. Some of the Mom’s enjoyed yoga sessions whileThe girls worked out. Thank you to Mike & Barbara for a such a great facility for athletes & their teams to train.

I've been going here for 2 years, and always get a great workout every time with their Fusion classes! Mike is an excellent trainer, very patient, motivational and always carries positive energy throughout the gym. I've also really enjoyed learning the technical aspects of boxing through personal training with him. There's a yoga studio (The Deyoga Room) attached to the gym offering classes that complement with the boxing, which I find highly effective and convenient. Overall, great experience and definitely worth checking out!

This gym is absolutely fantastic! It’s always clean and beaming with energy. My mom has been attending Rock Steady classes for about 5 months now, and some yoga classes here and there. Mike is such a wonderfully caring soul who encourages, motivates and helps build up my mom’s confidence every class. Both Mike and Deb are so vested in helping others it’s just awesome!! My mom and I have lots of fun at Rock Steady! Thank you to Mike and Deb for going above and beyond every day ❤️
