Gymnastics Unlimited, located at The Village Corner in Turlock, CA, offers a variety of gymnastics classes for children. Boasting experienced coaches like Kieran, Jonathan, and David who build strong skills and a love for the sport, the gym aims to be a welcoming place. Laurie and Mickey at the front desk are often praised for their warmth and friendliness. However, multiple customer reviews indicate concerns with the owner's behavior, reportedly rude and disrespectful interactions with parents, and inappropriate political discussions.

My nieces go the toddler gymnastics class on Mondays. I was there today watching them and was VERY RUDELY yelled at by the owner/manager of the place about my mask along with 2 other parents sitting in there. He cares NOTHING of the children as that is his “go to” when threatening the parents to do as he says! It was EXTREMELY unethical the way he behaved. I have no problem respecting a small businesses guidelines to keep people safe, however this was clearly a way to offend/hate on whoever he could over it . WOULD HIGHLY ADVISE against taking your little ones to a place like this. He also stated he has plenty of $$ and isn’t worried about dropping kids from his program! Sad thing is, of the 3 of us he was addressing, we all were trying to comply. There was no need to take it as far as he did. Politeness, courtesy and respect go a long way!

After several months I unfortunately have to redo my review for this place. My concern isn’t with the staff but more with the owner Paul. I have never encountered a more rude individual. His treatment of parents is appalling to put it lightly. I have to work long hours in the Bay Area to invest in my son’s extracurricular activities. However, when this individual walks around like we owe him something and is rude to parents who work hard for their kids is an insult. I work in a small business and trust me I know the importance of treating customer with the utmost respect. Lastly, a gymnastics place shouldn’t be a place for political discourse. I understand people have different views on politics but a gymnastics gym isn’t the place to discuss it. So I leave this review with an advice, be humble Paul.

This gym is phenomal. Paul is an amaiznb owner and genuinely loves the sport and all the kiddos here. The front desk ladies Laurie and Mickey are so sweet and welcoming it makes you want to be here. The coaches teach the kids all the skills they need and are extremely hands on. David is by far the best coach my daughter has had in her whole gymnastics career. If you want your child to get coached with love and taught skills correctly this is the best place to be! Thank you so much for always having us at your gym we really appreciate all of you.

Horrible place. Would never recommend. While I watched my 4 year old daughter I would here for an hour talk about politics they didn’t agree with, which in the end were talking horribly about myself. I think every parent wants to bring there kids into a non political place in this moment. And they would speak negatively about their staff, students, and other parents openly. Enforcing mandates when a mandate wasn’t even a thing but because they had a wedding coming up would force their gymnast to wear masks hard at work while they sit behind a desk and don’t. None of my experience here was good. And I’m so disappointed in this business and hope you guys realize you need to work on many things. I waited a whole year to give them patience and understanding but they continue to be so negative and speak negatively about everyone who doesn’t agree with them, so openly. I know covid is one thing, but the way you treat students, staff, and parents paying you to be there is absolutely horrible. I hope you guys do a better job in the future so you don’t get another review like this.

I guess I should have check the reviews before enrolling my kid. One of the manager/instructor(?), an older guy, decided it was ok and even funny to tell a 3 or 4 year old they would be a smacked for being slow. To make it worse when confronted by that child’s parent, and later my husband, the individual (along with receptionist older lady) defended the shameful behavior and saying oh well that’s why there’s glass so you can watch your kids. Basically saying, don’t worry you kids won’t be mistreated as long as a parent is watching behind the glass. BUT, you cannot hear the way they are talking to the kids. I was not at all concerned with needing to hear and see what the instructors were doing and saying, before this. Unfortunately, now I am. I cannot patronage an establishment that mistreats child and when confronted doubles down on that behavior. As other parents have stated, we work hard to provide our kids with extracurricular activities and shouldn’t have to worry about someone telling our kids that they are gonna get smacked for not keeping up. Gross.

The owner never identified him self after correcting my kid. I corrected him . I'm assuming that he was offended by that , he kept an eye on me and saw that I had stepped on the gym mat to get the instructors attention because my daughter has a medical conditioning. For that minor offense he banned me and my kids. Don't get the owner upset in "his gym"
