Flight Line Fitness Center NAS Oceana in Virginia Beach caters primarily to military personnel, offering free access. The gym is equipped with a variety of cardio and weight-training machines, a basketball court, and spacious locker rooms, although some of these facilities are in need of repair. The gym has friendly staff and is generally clean. However, its operating hours are not very accommodating, making it difficult for some to fit workouts into busy schedules.

Nice gym. Definitely a better gym comparing to Dam Neck

Great facility. Some of the members, though, kept attempting to pick up the friends I was with. People don't go to gyms to pick up dates.

Locker rooms, sauna, and steam room are beaten up with broken doors, tiles, rotted wood, and walls. The steam room is completely broken and inoperable. The front desk staff don’t enforce rules of the gym.

Free for Veterans and Active and I think dependants. For a beginner or someone who just wants to stay fit and get toned I suggest coming here. There's not that many people in the mornings and around 1800.

The gym offers a variety of fitness systems: cardio, weight training, etc. And it plays a vital part in a healthy lifestyle that enhances quality of life.

This place has seen better days. The equipment is in decent shape, just not a lot of it considering the size of the base (2x flat benches, 1x powerlifting platform for example). I can’t speak for the female locker room, but the male locker room, especially the shower area, is in sore need of repair (missing or broken tiles, mold, etc). Does have a sauna and steam room, and ample cardio machines. Staff are great

The hours of this gym are really bad for a base gym. The overall facility is pretty good given the size. It would be nice if they were open by 4am to be able to work out before work.

Overall, a great facility. However, the large powerful fans located in the locker room are certainly against CDC recommendations. I am surprised other ventilation options have not been installed.
