Onelife Fitness - Va Beach Blvd.

I've been a member of OneLife Fitness for a few years at another location. The Chesapeake location has always been friendly. The front desk workers at this location are extremely rude. They only greet certain people and ignore the rest. They are not welcoming at all. Probably the worst I've seen and I've visited several locations.

Just signed back up for OneLife Virginia Beach. The promotions that come with the sign up are a LIE!!! The first time I joined my two training sessions were actually training, workouts and a push. I saw Roland Tilar today and I had a hour long conversation after he showed up late about my goals in which was not how it went the first time I joined. We did no work out as promoted with joining. A waste of time and EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED as what was promised is not what I got. Save your money as I wish I could have saved mine and just continued to use a guest card to work out. Promotion IS A LIE!!!! Nice Facility but FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!

It has all the equipment the average gym goer would need. Decent locker rooms and showers. The issues I have are as follows:1. It gets crowded during the usual hours so there will be lines for some equipment. But the times I usually go are the slowest times, so it's not issue for me usually.2. The sauna is co-ed. Both men and women use it together. If this makes me uncomfortable, I can't imagine how most women feel.3. The equipment is becoming more and more broken. Missing pins from the cable machines, cardio equipment that moves and clunks in ways it shouldn't, benches with rips in them. Nothing too bad I suppose. But the shortage of pins lengthens the time you have to wait for the cable machines.

The best multi fitness gym in the area, maybe the state. Onelife does an amazing job with providing adequate equipment and space, with numerous fitness classes. Every workout buff or beginner can find their corner of the gym here or you can run the gambet.

I love this location but many of the weight machines are broken and there is nothing to indicate they are broken. I’m in there a couple times a week and every time I find at least one broken machine. This location is too busy to have broken weight machines, please tape them off and fix asap. Thank you!

Sorry OneLife.. Too crowded.Too many treadmills, not enough weight lifting machines, and a small free weight section.Movie room could be amazing, but instead it's sad with worn down broken equipment and most times no movie is playing and you have to annoy the gym staff so they can play the movie that is scheduled to play and should already be playing.Newport News location is far better and worth the price.This location is not very good, not worth the price. Couldn't even workout most days because too many people, so I just left.Canceled and ate the cancelation fee

Onelife is my Favorite gym, the staff is super friendly and helpful. Very clean and hygienic environment. Myriad variety of machines, Equipment etc.. Swimming pool, sauna, hot tub, and even a movie room where you can exercise and watch a movie. Great Gym!

I absolutely love the Fit 360 classes. I don’t live in Virginia anymore, but every time I come to town I can’t wait to get in a class or two. Stephen and Paige put together the absolute best classes, the time flies by and I leave excited for the next class!

I’ve been a member at Onelife for awhile now. Went in for “leg day” and 4/5 machine are down/broken. The one machine I could use squeaked and could hardly get the pin in… The “hip thrust” machine was broken for MONTHS and I’m happy to be able to use it again! I’ve reached out to corporate and hope to change my review to a higher rating asap! Think it’s time for a re-investment back into some new equipment. If not improved I may consider a move…

Longtime member of this gym…almost since the beginning. I live 25 minutes away and it’s totally worth the trip. Great value. Friendly staff. Best selection of equipment.
