I was grateful to have an open gym. Staff was friendly. Large amount of equipment though a bit of mix and match, and little was new. Clients were respectful and some friendly. It needs a thorough cleaning and some natural light and decent …

Don't be fooled by the reviews, this place is truly terrible. From the dirty machines and lack of rules, to the narrow set up of the entire gym, this place is not worth what you pay. To elaborate more, random weights are all over the gym …

Stopped by Royal Oak Gym today and was really thrilled with the place. I went at about 6:45/7pm on a Tuesday and it wasn’t too crowded. I was able to use one of the deadlifting platforms (there were a lot - maybe 8) and bench without …

Royal Oak Gym is by far my favorite gym. I have tried many other gyms, but nothing has compared to this one. It's populated by very serious lifters, and can be a bit intimidating at first. Everyone at the gym seems to be pretty nice and …

Very good gym. Has all the equipment that you need. I've been to LA fitness, planet fitness and they were not as good. First LA fitness was crowded and smelly and there was no place to workout. So I left LA fitness and came here. …

This gym has all the equipment you need but the equipment is really close together and it feels very crowded. Also the women's bathroom is dirty and could really use some remodeling. I do like that this gym does not require a membership. The drop-in fee is $5 which I feel is very reasonable.

Had such a wonderful experience at this gym. My boyfriend and I were down over the 4th of July, and they were one of the only gyms staffed regular hours. Definitely a place for serious lifters. It has the feel of an old school body building gym and we loved it! Staff was friendly and the members were all respectful. We will surely be back next time we are in town!
