July 2023 Update: The gym is very popular and staff is friendly. The equipment is very clean and well maintained. The gym goers are good at cleaning equipment and benches after use. Like in most gyms, most of the members are the typical gym, bro types, however everyone seems respectful and focuses on their own workouts. Women there seem to feel comfortable, but I can’t speak for that personally. There is a good variety of machines and free weights, however, they could use some more free weight equipment is there always seems to be a wait.I re-joined the gym after I had Covid and I also registered for the Next Level Boot Camp program. The program is under new management and has a great group of instructors and a varied work out schedule. They put a lot of effort in designing great workouts that focus on the various muscle groups. However, they seem to have dropped their previous focus on diet and nutrition. In my personal opinion, they didn’t have any staff who was qualified to teach on that front. Overall, it’s a great addition to the gym. If you are a member of th program, you also get to use the facilities at Fit gym.The locker room is very small and many lockers don’t lock. Beware of the desk staff if you want to make changes to your automatic withdrawal. I was out for about a year with COVID and they still continue to charge me even though I put my membership on hold. I had to threaten to go to the fraud department on my credit card, so they finally corrected the errors that they made this also happened about two years ago when I had surgery and they had no record of me, putting my membership on hold, even though I had receipts, unfortunately I wasn’t so assertive back then. Overall, it’s the best place in town.. the gym previously before the renovations. The new bathrooms and showers are amazing. They are clean, attractive and very high end looking. The lockers have built in combination locks. The rest of the gym has had a new paint job and some renovations going on now have increased the sizes of the classrooms, especially the cycling room. The place definitely looks more upscale, but some small touches are needed such as getting rid of the beat up and uncomfortable dorm sofas and wobbly IKEA chairs and shelving. The popular Next Level program is undergoing some changes and staff turnover. The program was getting a bit tired with lack of variety in workouts and lack of focus on form and injury prevention. Personally, I am taking a break from the program to see if it improves and of they hire staff with formal physical raining education.

People there are great. Equipment’s great. When there was towel service that alone was a selling point, not sure why that was removed. Never received the military discount, was charged in full and anytime I’ve called it never was resolved. Would leave five stars if they had better evening hours or had at least one 24 hour facility like they did when it was Key West but that’s unfortunately not the case anymore.

Seems pretty great! Only been going for a month or so… hard core lifter and this gym seems to have serious enthusiasts as well as your average fitness lovers… so good blend.

FIT University is a microcosm of the wider gym culture and all of it's problems. My opinions don't reflect the staff at Fit because I have had nothing but pleasant experiences with them, nor is this a critique of the facility because it's usually clean and well kept. The culture is fit chicks, guys contemplating taking steroids in order to get said fit chicks, powerlifters, bodybuilders, and classes were people go with hopes of cheating on there partner. It's a place were the most interesting thing about someone is how much they lift or how they placed in the last competition. The beautiful thing is that I still go to FIT because of habit and some of the other members are cool.

Great environment to lift in. Started going here my sophomore year of college and have stuck with it for three years. Love the clean equipment and access to lockers for my personal belongings.

Very clean, nice workout equipment, and a very friendly staff. My only complaint is that day passes are now $15 a day. They used to be $5. I'm from Omaha, and I come to town about every 3 weeks. I wish they had a deal for out-of-towners, like 30 admissions for $50 or go back to a $5 a day pass. Other than that, good place to lift.Reply: Yes, thank you. I never knew that. Thank you.

State-of-the-art equipment, friendly and helpful staff, personal training, and instructor led classes make this the gym for true fitness enthusiasts. Locker rooms with locked storage makes it safe and easy to store personal belongings. A little bit compared to Planet Fitness or other gyms in the area, but the quality is worth the price.

I really don't even know where to begin but here goes I was terrified to join a gym because I do not want to be judged or body shamed but my very first day walking into fit I felt so at home and welcome right away the lady at the front desk which I wish I knew her name so I could add it came up to me she must have knew it was my first time she walked up to us got my daughter enrolled in daycare and comfortable gave me an awesome tour and let me know that if I need anything at all or any advice that they can help. The membership rates are very affordable, with FREE child cate and classes!!! Being a full time student, employee and mother is a lot to juggle and the hours work for me and my child, i really couldn't ask for a better gym and am so thankful i took on the journey to recovering myself with them!!!

Love this gym! Not only do they have great staff, child care service, showers and classes, they have 4 locations so I can use any of them with my gym key card! There is 3 locations with 24 hour access that are always available for crazy schedules! They are always clean, great variety of machines and options of personal training if I need a little guide!
