I joined Bikram Yoga 8 years ago (La Cienega and West Pico) and stopped going for few years. I re joined last month in Hacienda Heights since it is close to home and was surprised the routine never change. There are 3 good instructors here in Hacienda - Sharon, Nancy and Jenny the rest should just use a tape recorder. They memorize the scripted instruction and not even coaching the participants. They are in a hurry to finish the class. Sharon is great with her calming voice, she guides you thru the whole class. She corrects everybody's posture and show you the right position. She is very accommodating and considerate when the room gets to be very hot, its either she opens the door or turn on the fan. The rest don't really care they just want to finish the class as quick as they can. Jenn and Nancy are good as well they know what their doing they guide and coach, attending class with them is relaxing and at the same time you got the work out you need.I hope the rest of the instructor should follow how they conduct their class.

I hate this place specifically the instructor that teach Monday night 8:45 class. What kind of stupid rule that u can not touch the mirror. Next thing I know. She make me clean the mirror. Isn't it her job? Regret joining bikram I thought it was different veriaty. Turns out it's the same thing. Boring! I join this place because I love (YU) the instructor only.

Facility: nice and clean. Large fan in men's room helps with cooling down after class. Showers and lockers are some what tight. No soap or shampoo provided as in other places.Instructors: each has his or hers style. Most are helpful. Beginner should not take Ms. Yu's class until at least after 2 months of practice if it can be helped. Her accent and nasally high pitch makes it very difficult to understand directions so if you don't know the basic you'd get very frustrated. AND she keeps you in poses for much longer than other instructors. I've seen a few beginners left classes out of frustration.Tips: search groupon for best deals. New comers deal at front desk is not as good as groupon.
