I have been going to the YMCA on 8th st for months. Started on walker and now on cane. Words don't describe how much I love them.

I love the Y, it’s a great place for the whole family. It’s never crowded when i go and everyone has been very friendly and kind. They have everything you need for a good workout. They have the best weight room and I love the pool.

Lifeguards are great. Call ahead to confirm if the pool is open. If you have kids, they can only swim in the designated lanes during certain hours until further notice.

Go with my younger boys all the time they luv going to the Downtown Y more than Bartley being that Bartley stays so busy. Staff is awesome never had a problem.

My 3 year old took private swimming lessons. Alyssa and aquatics director, Aaron are kind, Professional, and flexible with lesson times. We completed a 10 lesson plan and my child can safely tread water, hold her breath, float, and generally swim without my assistance as well as general water safety rules. Well worth it for my peace of mind and water safety. Looks like they are remodeling the work out areas and I'm considering joining for myself and the water aerobics. Always friendly and clean. Pretty cool historical building as well.

Started the water aerobics class to stay fit during my first pregnancy, it was a great addition to my routine and everyone was so kind and friendly! Highly recommend the class with Tye! The building itself is gorgeous too. Wonderful place and people!

They continued to charge my card during the two months they were closed due to covid, couldn't contact the branch manager to cancel over the phone.When they finally did reopen they claimed the only way to cancel was in person and after I canceled they still charged me one additional month afterwards because I didn't give a notification the prior month when they were closed.

Facilities are old and out of date.im not from wf so it was like going back in time going to the Y.but their building an updated one so maybe in 5 years it will be better lol.other than that just started going here no thats my only beef with them and facilities are small

I was in Wichita Falls for work and got a membership to swim at the pool. The staff was always very accommodating, and extremely nice. The facilities were always clean too. I'd definitely recommend it.
