My husband (aka: Mr Fabulous) and I have been part of the Bladium community for a decade now and their group classes and facility are top notch! I’ve tried a few gyms across the island but needed a more challenging workout — and Bladium does more than deliver on that! Instructors are inclusive, energetic, and dedicated. It’s sad that Bladium CrossFit ended and it’s a good way for everyone to switch it up. I plan to ignore the bad vibes with a great workout!!

*edit 10/29/23They’ve fixed the outdoor fields but keep in mind there is an annual fee that you have to pay on top of a fee for each team/league you join. Also, I started playing indoor but will only play during the winter, it is SO HOT in there, there’s no AC and I’ve heard absolute horror stories about playing in there with no ventilation when its 90 degrees out. It’s a really great place with potential, if they actually maintained their fields it would get 5 stars but those outdoor soccer fields are horrible and hazardous. Playing on those fields feels like a warzone, they really need to fix them since it’s SO EXPENSIVE to sign up for soccer and then you play on a monstrosity of a field? One would think the money would go to the maintenance of the facilities.

Customer service is terrible. I figured it’d be different than my experiences at 24 hour seeing as it’s a little more expensive and the facilities are nicer but I wasn’t happy after my interaction with the front desk people. Was given two different answers from two different people regarding a problem I was wanting to trouble shoot and the second gentleman I spoke to was cold and rude and I could tell he was just wanting to put an end to the conversation as quickly as possible as opposed to being of any help. Left a poor taste in my mouth. After reading other reviews it seems as though they love to scam customers on a regular basis. 10/10 would not recommend this gym. Pretty unfortunate.

PARENTS BEWARE: I recently had an experience with Baldium Sports Camp that left me more than disappointed. Actually shocked.I was surprised to find out that during camp hours, the kids were watching TV instead of participating in the various fun activities that were advertised, such as basketball, kickball, and arts and crafts. This is completely the opposite of an active and enriching experience I had hoped for when choosing Bladium camp for my children.I emailed the camp director Ben Maxwell and unsurprisingly never got a response. I also called and spoke to Jimmy about some problems my kids encountered at the camp, and while he acknowledged the issues and promised to call back, I never heard from him again. In the email, I mentioned the disengagement of some coaches who seemed more interested in their phones than interacting with the kids. Nobody was checking kids out of the camp during pickup, which seems like a basic requirement to have a license to take care of children. While I await a response from the camp, I DO NOT recommend the camp due to the issues mentioned, and will never send my kids to a Bladium camp, Nike KIDS Camp or US Sports Camps again.

God forbid they raise their prices in the Bay Area and you all complain. Lol. I remember playing the Bladium bombers in TPC tournaments as a kid coming up from San Jose. Just happy to visit again as an adult. Amazing place. People stop crying about prices it’s your choices to buy houses here and raise their rent and taxes.

Looks like someone was super unprofessional today. The guy kicked a whole church group of kids who had reserved the field for a last minute request. The guy said they had to remove themselves from the field because the other league was better. When the leader of the church told the guy to give him his manager’s number he refused and told the lady’s at the front not cooperate with the church. When the youth group ask for a refund for being removed from their reserve time they were denied. How disrespectful and unprofessional! To remove a group of kids who had reserved days prior and just for some last minute “better” league.

The fact that this gym is never packed and usually has whatever I need available is the main reason I pay the high price. The equipment is definitely old though. Most staff are nice except Tracie is just a mean miserable angry person. I don't know how someone that hostile and rude is supposed to be teaching people yoga.

Update - had to lower stars because the front desk does a poor job of customer service. They are not friendly, very corporate and profit-driven. They wanted to charge me $29 to reactivate my membership. Not very enthusiastic about me returning, they could care less, so I didn’t. Also, there are no guest passes so friends and family cannot work out with you unless they pay the drop in fee.The gym is really big with many things to do. The equipment is in good condition, and everything is clean. The locker rooms and bathrooms are newly renovated, clean, and spotless. The locker room is also big and has nice showers. Plenty of parking.Update: new ownership decided to axe CrossFit for more parking. Looks like they really needed it. They also decided to prioritize 18 pickle ball courts over the gym area; now everything is crammed into a smaller area than before they remodeled it.

Not the Same Bladium as before! There’s been a change of management so the once Bladium we all knew and loved will be now turned into a Pickle Ball Center? (What even is Pickle Ball??) Gym Machines have been greatly reduced, Soccer Pitches have been removed, as well as Volleyball and Basketball Courts to make way for the new renovations. On top of all of this, despite them saying they won’t raise the price, THEY ARE!! Membership will go up from $75 to $80 dollars, and on top of this to even be able to use the new pickle ball courts you’ll have to pay $50 ON TOP of the 75$ monthly. Unfortunately the all-in-one, one of a kind fitness center we knew as the Bladium is sadly no more. :(
