The studio is beautiful (plus 1 star) and the instructors are great (plus1 star). The classes are fully booked several weeks in advance with a long waiting list.(minus 1 star). It is unlikely to consistently be able to take a class or teacher that is best suited for your workout level because you have to sign up for what is open and available (minus 1 star), that is if you are lucky to get in few weeks in advance. The class cancelation policy of 12 hours with $15 penalty is not attainable (minus 1 star). Overall, the scheduling is a huge problem and has caused me great anxiety. I cancelled the membership 2 months in due to the scheduling issues. I communicated to management the scheduling issues; they don't want to budge on the 12 hour cancellation policy, and actually take pride in their stricter than, for example, The Bar Method 1 hour class cancellation policy.

I’m almost 50 classes in and have been a member for a few months now. I really enjoy the different instructors and the variety they offer because every persons teaching style is different. Studio is always clean! Front desk staff are great and accommodating when last minutes things or health issues come up. The app is easy to use but reception can book your classes if you call in or visit. Just be sure to book as far in advance in possible because classes fill quickly

If it were possible to give a negative number of stars as a review I would. I put myself on a waitlist for two classes online and ended up being charged $168 despite not having been taken off either waitlist. I never even stepped foot in the studio. All their advertisements says that the first class is free, well, that obviously is not true. I called and spoke to someone who works at the desk and they said they could do nothing about it. Then I spoke to a manager and she said she could do nothing about it. Please do not go to this scam of it facility.

Club Pilates is only out for your money. They accept far more members than they have space for and scheduling is impossible. For weeks out every class will be booked. When I brought this to their attention and tried to cancel my membership, I was told I should put it “on hold” instead as they would be adding more classes soon. I was not informed that “putting it on hold” meant I would still be charged a monthly hold fee or that the cancellation policy of a 30 day notice would still be enforced. Therefore, when I had to call again to actually cancel, 2 days past the unknown still enforced 30 day notice, I was told I would still be billed. I usually don’t write reviews but this really struck me as unfair and I would have appreciated knowing how difficult it is to schedule classes here and then how time consuming and expensive it is to just cancel. Be cautious if signing up at this club.

I am brand new to Pilates and have been a member for 3 months in which time I’ve take 40 classes. I guess you could say I’m a fan of the unlimited level membership and I am hooked! Every time I go they seem to bring out a new or different way to use the equipment which I find fascinating and appreciate because it keeps things fresh. I enjoy the different styles of teaching offered by different instructors. My body is transforming, I am stronger and I am grateful.

I absolutely love Club Pilates in Alameda! I was so thrilled when they opened almost a year ago here in Alameda now as I used to take Pilates reformer years ago and was looking for a new studio since my old one closed down awhile back.. The owner Melissa is awesome and the assistant manager Christine as well as they make you feel like family! The instructors are very insightful, friendly and professional at the same time.. there is plenty of parking which is really nice and the studio is always very clean and I like that it’s a big studio so you have room on your reformers to do your work out without crowding your neighbor. Also I like that the classes seem to be all age ranges which is nice as well..I highly recommend Club Pilates in Alameda!!

I really love this studio space and Pilates has been a wonderful change from hi-impact activities that no longer work for me. I’ve committed to 3 months and considered unlimited membership to get as much benefit as I can from the club. The place is clean and it’s walking distance from my home. The instructors seem well versed in Pilates. I especially like Julie’s classes. The Receptionist is also very kind and helpful. I do think it would be more helpful and welcoming if the instructors attempted to know the people who come regularly. I’ve been going for two months now. I’ve taken 16 classes, mostly with Erika, and none of the instructors have taken any time to say hello or ask how I am doing with the classes. For example, Erika repeat an instruction multiple times with increased inflection - so much so that others giggled - and I realized her instruction was directed towards me but she didn’t know my name so she could not instruct in a more professional and useful way. I did approach her after class to introduce myself and I will continue to do so with others. I would like to continue my membership but I’m not sure I will.

All of the instructors at Club Pilates in Alameda are simply fantastic. They each bring their own style to the classes keeping each class unique, never boring. Each session, I am testing myself more and more and getting over more fears of "I can't do that!" because they give me the confidence that I can. I have been going for over 7 months now and am so happy I spotted Club Pilates. It's in the mall where Nob Hill is at. Free parking so that doesn't have to add to your budget. Go for it!

I've been waiting to join another gym for years because I haven't found one based on location, fitness program, cost, and satisfying.I've been attending classes since their opening in March 2018 and I now have more flexibility and control - strength in my core, back, arms, and legs.Club Pilates is a great way to tone the body without the bulky look. The instructors are certified professionals who are constantly scanning the room to ensure that each individual endures the movement from the correct body part. They are sensitive to any injuries and will tailor an alternative move for you. They welcome suggestions on class level and class times. Melissa and her front staff are friendly, energetic, and responsive to your needs.

Club Pilates Alameda, CA has changed my outlook on pilates. Very friendly staff, group classes really nice. Membership is very diverse and enjoyable to be around. My favorite instructor is Julie. She encourages everyone in a very relaxed manner, yet you know you have had a good workout, since you are dripping in sweat. Although I have only attended Club Pilates for a little over 3 months, I have noticed positive results throughout my body including muscle, more flexibility and stamina. I enjoy taking classes from most of the other instructors. The ladies at the front desk, Cheyenne and Amelia are very professional and helpful.Lastly, I also want to thank Melissa, owner for opening Club Pilates in Alameda.
