This place use to be pretty good. Not sure if it’s the new staff or management. Hoping the owner has not changed. I was cancelled twice. Then tried to book another appointment and it required a additional payment on top of my original initial purchase. The same happen to my one of my peers who has now stopped coming here after 2 years. I understand life happens, but If you are going to cancel (especially multiple times) don’t charge the other party. Nonetheless, don’t blame the customer for the incident. Also the young lady I spoke to seems to need some coaching and additional training when it comes to interacting with customers. Sad to say I won’t be coming back here. After attempting to get a refund, I decided it wouldn’t be worth my energy interacting with a very difficult staff member there. I’ll take the lost.

A GREAT local gym! Plenty of stations for heavy weight training, a solid lineup of cardio equipment, and room to move for HIIT. The ideal gym setup.

HIIT class with Derek has been awesome! If you are looking for a fun and challenging class I recommend giving his class a shot. I have been taking the class for about 4 months and my strength and endurance have both increased since starting …

I have been going to Rise since February and they have made a good deal of changes in that time, all of which in my opinion are improvements. I am there nearly every day and the current staff and clientele that I interact with are all great people.

Great place for barbell training. Lots of open racks and Rogue equipment. It has nice locker rooms and they have cardio, personal training and group exercise classes upstairs. Excellent monthly rates. It looks like this place used to be called Alameda Athletic Club, but the sign out front has been replaced by Rise Bodyworks.

Great experience. Dr. Beall not only does adjustments, but ART which is working on the muscle groups on my back and body. He does business honestly and has gotten me results for my back pain.

Dr. Beall is amazing. I had an ongoing hamstring problem that interferred with my running and boxing. After seeing Dr. Beall regularly for ART body work I am completely pain free. Today I ran a full marathon with no hamstring pain. He is knowledgable, friendly, funny and his prices are very fair..
