Tim and Matt are class acts and are the legacy of the late David Jacobs. This is the best high level Jiu Jitsu in the area! As far as the fitness side, the Forces were the heart of the old Outlaw Crossfit and DEFINITELY know their stuff. You can't go wrong signing up here no matter what you're looking for.

The gym has everything that you could want; a friendly, tight knit, and welcoming atmosphere, plenty of mat space, a lobby with a television to keep children occupied (while you train), a strength and condition program individually catered to your needs, a large group of active competitors (if that's your thing), high level black belts under David Jacobs teaching and training on the mats, a morning class, a large student body consisting of higher ranked belts - and beginners too, and very reasonably priced and competitive tuition. Instruction is top notch - they don't throw random techniques at you - instruction flows naturally from one lesson to the next with "themes" being implemented consistently. The schedule offers gi and no gi (heel hooks allowed) training. They even have a wrestling class on Sundays. Come train! 👊

This place is awesome! Tim and Matt has created a fun but hard working environment. I have been able to focus on my competition and athletic needs while having fun. This place has a great balance of competition focus but also working with students individual goals. Whether getting into shape, learning, as a hobby or competition this academy has it all.

This place has world champion led instruction, dank memes, S&C, and an unparalleled adult wrestling class Sunday at 11AM. Much like mentor Dave's school was (may he RIP), this school is very welcoming to beginners, but is also a magnet school for wayward colored belts. People who started out at more "traditional" schools end up here, because there is no weird cult nonsense or frivolous customs, just high quality grappling with friends.

One of the most comfortable atmospheres I’ve ever experienced in the world of jiu jitsu, this academy offers a great place to train for all folks from every facet of life. Tim and Matt (owners/head coaches) are not only experienced in providing excellent jiu jitsu instruction, but also ensuring everyone who’s steps into their academy feels welcome, safe, and satisfied with their experience while present.

As a woman starting bjj, it's been very difficult to find a space that I feel comfortable learning something completely new in. However this gym has been great so far, I've never felt singled out or uncomfortable and there's a decent amount of women who attend classes regularly. I appreciate the coaches' teaching styles as they make the best use of class time to hone in on the techniques being taught that day and are always happy to help you troubleshoot the move.

High Noon is one of the friendliest academies in the Northern Virginia area. Tim Dawson and Matt Miller are highly technical instructors who teach effective material in a manner that anyone can understand. The location is easy to find and the facilities are clean and well maintained. Their strength and conditioning classes are challenging. I like the music played during class. The classes themselves are run at a good pace which will leave you feeling like you've worked hard by the end. The students are friendly and willing to work with new people. Everyone there stands for everyone else's success. They have captured the essence of jiu jitsu and I'd strongly recommend anyone to train here.

High Noon is a fantastic gym run by two great instructors and friends. After my old gym suddenly closed, the whole thing left a bad taste in my mouth and I wanted to take a step back from BJJ for a bit. However, Matt and Tim worked quickly and carefully to provide a new home for me and our other displaced teammates. I'm extremely grateful and proud to train at this great facility under their banner. Classes are challenging yet welcoming and beneficial to all skill levels and I would highly recommend this gym to anyone who may be interested. I've been training BJJ for nine years and I'm excited to be a part of High Noon BJJ.

Tim and Matt are not only good Jiu-Jitsu instructors, but they are also good people. Its enjoyable to learn from them as instructors as well as know them as individuals. They are friendly and tough, and their classes are just like them. The team is very close, yet they are welcoming to everyone. They will push you to greater heights and support you in every way. I learn and improve not only because of the great coaches but also the great training partners.I love training at High Noon BJJ & Fitness because of the culture and atmosphere, the coaches and the team.
