King Khong MMA is the best! Master Bao is such a great teacher for our kid. His friendly, patient, and attentive approach is what my 5 year old needs. I can really feel how he connects with the kids. And you can see not only my kid but all the kids progress so well! Not only are they physically stronger, but the class builds their mental toughness as well. And it’s tested in real life to be useful for keeping kids safe as my kid slipped but fell using MMA technique and didn’t hurt his head. I’m so glad we found King Khong!

Went to my first class today for Muay Thai amd BJJ. Both classes were amazing. A very laid back and friendly environment. Boa the head instructor was amazing and so knowledgeable. So glad I joined and look forward to training regularly

Highly recommend for anyone interested in learning Muay Thai even if you're just a beginner or an experienced fighter.Kru Bao is very welcoming, and professional. He takes the time to instruct the the right way. My family loves this place! We just came here from Ukraine and signed up our son to join King Khong MMA. Coach Bao was extremely accommodating and understanding of our situation and made our son feel welcome. He went above and beyond to help us out. Thanks to the coach Boa, our son was able to adjust and adopt to the new environment easily. I highly recommend this school!

Our son was doing martial arts since he was 5y.o, now he is 13 so we’ve been to a few schools over the years. But King Khong MMA is the best one! When we moved to the area we tried a couple of schools before committing and King Khong MMA is a truly amazing school! Coach Bao is very talented and attentive to all the kids, he is an amazing coach. We are glad that we found this place. I highly recommend this school!

Master Bao is an excellent instructor. His classes focus a lot more on actual repetition and practicing of the techniques rather than extraneous exercises and/or drills. This teaching method provides more value to his classes, making any martial artist become a better fighter. I highly recommend King Khong MMA for anyone that is either interested in learning Martial Arts and for those who already have prior experience.

You absolutely have to come try a class at King Khong MMA if you are considering joining a gym in the DMV.By reputation and now by my own experience it’s clear why Master Bao is the best Muay Thai instructor in the DC area.I started at 43 years old and I went from being intimidated to obsessed with fighting before my first class was over.There’s not another gym I know of with such a positive vibe, and my friend who is a fighter and trained under him and other coaches says she now refuses to train Muay Thai with anyone else but Master Bao.Get off your butt and try a class, it might very literally change your life!

I’ve trained at quite a few gyms in the area. Bao provides the best training and focus on technique and improving upon your weaknesses. Best place to learn for beginners kids or experienced/fighters. Friendly and welcoming environment with no egos. Just helpful caring people all around.
