Excellent staff friendly members. Very clean a variety of classes to fit every lifestyle. I can't say enough other than if you looking for a gym this is the place. Love it love it.

Recently joined. Good place all around. Stuff is overall in good condition. Always clean. Great staff. Appreciate the sauna. Selfishly I love that it is never crowded, but hope they can pick up some more folks; would help with getting more classes.

Easily the best gym in the area. LA fitness is dirty and gold's gym is not customer friendly and has a lot of clientele that is rude and extremely loud when they work out. The facility is clean and the staff is very friendly.

5 stars for the trainers, instructors, and (most) staff. They’ve always been great, informative, and motivating, and I'm certain are all underpaid.I was a faithful member for nearly 8 years and boldly returned during Covid shortly after facilities reopened during June 2020, but feel like things went drastically downhill. I would sometimes go during empty, off-peak hours (like 2-3pm on a Friday) to use the OneLife Anywhere app in the studios by myself, I was repeatedly told to use headphones instead of my own audio - the audio from my ipad was lower than the background music played upstairs. It was absurd - not everyone has expensive airpods and can workout with a cord flying around - I was using the company’s app and facilities as a paying member, when no one was around.Communication has also gone sour - class changes, and most importantly things like the air conditioning being out for over a week (IN THE SUMMER) is unacceptable. No messaging sent out - you just realize upon arrival that the gym floor felt like, and smelled like worn, gym clothes were sitting in someone’s car parked in the sun for a month. Yes they said we could use other facilities, but how about a quick email update to members? Instead of finding out, repeatedly, only when we got there? The AC going out is not a new thing, but for this long, without any communication... that's not cool.I feel awful for the trainers and staff that had to work in those conditions, and don’t know why the AC was out for so long - but mailing an update to members is not unreasonable.I used to love coming here, and have even made a few friends at the gym - but for the rates we pay at OTS&H (which is more than double gyms in the same family) I feel it's not worth it.So I “downgraded” to OneLife, for less than half the monthly fee (but regular AC)

I will hope to update this review once Covid has cleared, as the low rating applies exclusively to Sport and Health's complete lack of enforcement for Virginia's current pandemic-related safety requirements (mask wearing while inside buildings and not actively exercising, and social distancing). My husband and I have been members since 2007, and have really enjoyed the excellent equipment, friendly staff, and generally non-crowded environment that has made working out a pleasure. Based on our experience over the past months, however, we finally decided to freeze our membership. Fellow gym members walk all over the workout and common areas without wearing face coverings. They sit on equipment--without wearing face coverings--for extended periods of time (on numerous occasions I would complete 2 sets on another machine and individuals would still be there typing novels or whatever on their phones). This would prevent me from using certain machines, cutting into my ability to get the most out of my membership. I would attempt to stay away from people but they'd find the need to use a machine that was right next to mine, within 6', when literally everything else in the area was free. We reported these instances to staff as they piled up, trying to just take care of ourselves and stay away from people who were violating the rules. Nothing was ever done. In fact, the last time I was there, I saw the manager walk right by a no-face-covering member without saying anything. After seeing that, and many attempts to keep ourselves away from others, we decided it's not possible to maintain a reasonably low risk level in this gym.

Great staff. Working doubly hard during this tough period. Thanks to the Staff!

For those of us who are committed to “work out”, even at age 79, the weight room part is essential (I bench my own weight) There are a multitude of resistance machines, stationary bikes, and many yoga and other classes and top notch trainers. Worth every penny.

Well run Sport & Health with nice views of the Potomac River. Also offers many fitness classes.

Don’t even waste your time. Commit to this facility once, and you will never be able to get out of it. Their cancellation policies are really weird. Also if you think the management can help you? No they can’t, they could care less. The last person to talk to is Tomoko. She has proved many times on how incompetent she is.However, the only positive thing about this gym is some of its instructors, while the majority of others aren’t.I’m incredibly disappointed and I really hope I can get out of it sooner than later. There are better clubs out there.
