I've known Ervin for 20 years. We trained together briefly in college and after college. He is a REAL STUDENT of the Martial arts. His technique is high level and so is his character. Amazing instruction, extremely welcoming environment, clean facility, location is super convenient for NoVa, DC, and MD folks. Ervin is a fantastic instructor. The way he teaches clearly breaks down technique for all levels is unmatched by other schools I have visited. Cannot say enough great things about Testudo!

I started training at Testudo in June 2021 while home for the summer, and I couldn't be happier with my decision! Coach Ervin provides detailed instruction and helps students realize their strengths in this discipline. Testudo has a dedicated group of students who enjoy training and getting better--so come learn Jiu Jitsu!

Leaving Testudo is the only reason I'm hesitant to move to San Diego. Some of the best jiu jitsu instruction I've ever received, and the community Ervin has built is incredible.
