I lost 35 pounds at EMA.Starting with the stat most want to hear. I did not join the team to lose weight or get in shape really. I worked out regularly, ate semi okay, thought I was in relatively good shape compared to most people. My goal was to learn to fight still is. I’ve learned a lot but still have a long way to go. After almost two years of training and following the guidance of the coaches, I am surprised by the complements on how my body has changed, wasn’t something I was tracking. I recently decided to weigh myself just to see. My stats from just before I started show I’ve lost 35 pounds and 5 inches from my waist without even trying. Whatever your goal is be it losing weight, getting in shape, learning to fight or just self defense, you’ll meet it here!

I need to start going back but while I was there it was the greatest martial arts school I'd gone to. Granted, the only martial arts school I'd gone to, but still. The staff is amazing; they're great with kids and very knowledgeable. Btw... Truett T, if you're here... hey it's Kaitlyn

They are great with kids but I couldn't afford the 2nd month of martial arts for my child. I filled out the paperwork they gave me to cancel the automatic withdrawal. They promised it wouldn't charge because we filled the paperwork way before the due date. Then my husband asked for the $200 back because he did the right thing by canceling on time. The clerk said they can't do refunds. We go to the bank to dispute the charge but I couldn't get my money back that way either. Then we try to contact the owner and he didn't call me back after his class and now he's on vacation. As a disabled war veteran, I can't work so money is very tight. They will take advantage of you and that auto withdrawal so I don't recommend a membership AT ALL!! Don't auto renew because they will still take your money and ignore your requests as someone else had stated before. There's something shady with how the finances work here. Now I'm at a loss of $200 for a class that my daughter can't even attend because I can't afford gas to drive 30 min every day to take her and they refuse to give me a refund and ignore my requests to talk to the owner. DON'T AUTO RENEW YOUR CHILD IN THIS CLASS unless you have money to throw away. I had to get a new bank card to avoid this next month. They lure you in for $100 membership for the first month and then they MAKE YOU auto renew the membership. It's how they steal your money later. Don't fall for it. The owner needs to get it together.

The best martial arts school in the world. I trust them with my own children. Seriously, the finest youth coaching I have ever seen. We are beyond grateful that our kids get to learn there.

EMA has been incredible for our son! The staff, curriculum, and team-centered atmosphere are all more than we could have ever expected. His confidence and independence have improved drastically. And to top it off, he gets a great workout! We are so happy to be part of the EMA family.

Extreme Martial Arts is a wonderful place to study. The coaches and staff here treat you like family. If the kids did something good in class the coaches let them know. We love that they get excited with the kids and encourage them in every aspect of life.

I was there for just a month and I lost 10 pounds in 5 days. I learned quickly because of the way they teach and every person and employee of the academy was kind and nice to me
