Recent renovations to the gym center has taken away several free weight and barbell benches. Unless the renovation is incomplete and they intend to return or add even more benches, this was a pointless decision made by UTA.Additionally, you’d think with the month and a half of time they had they would repair things like cable machines but several were out of order and had snapped cables unable to be used. What we’re they doing this entire time besides added some turf to run on???Edit: after a few weeks through the semester benches have been added, however a growing number of machines remain out of order due to a number of cable weight machines being snapped/broken. Not sure when these are going to be fixed but with the current volume of gym goers it makes getting anything done a chore beyond the lift itself.

This is a unique facility. However I think they missd the mark wen they designd the view from the spectators location. Its very pricey 2 attend a kids basketball game...especially wen U cant c the scoreboard for the game U r watchn. As a disabled grandmothr, its very inconvenient 2 keep getn up frm the bleachers 2 walk out 2 the sidelines 2 look up at the scoreboard 2 chek the score r how much time is left n the game.

The courts are nice, but the clock/scoreboards are not visible from the stands.

This is a huge facility located in the UTA campus. You can go there to play, workout, study or just to watch some TV. They lend all equipments for sports, workouts and even video game consoles.Membership is required to enter the facility so be sure to carry your ID cards at all times. The gym upstairs is huge with all the equipment and machines you can think of. The gym is usually is full in the evenings so be sure to plan your visit for a workout.

Great place to workout, has a bunch of other activities for you to do, it has a track, indoor basketball, sand volleyball, indoor soccer, outdoor basketball, rock climbing wall, billiards, game consoles, indoor volleyball, ping pong, need I say more. Only downsides are it gets pretty crowded during the semester and you have to pay if you're not a student, but I guess thats at any gym.

we brought the kids by here to participate in the church athletic events. They really enjoyed the facility and the Personnel that were there to assist with registration and coordination of the athletic events.
