I love this place! Very covid conscious. Loving people, genuinely want to help the community. Donation based system allows people to get clothing if needed from their thrift store, and guarantees that people from all classes and wages are able to find connection via yoga. Love this place and their mission!

I am so grateful for Asheville Community Yoga. Grateful for the opportunity for all to practice in community, regardless of their ability to pay. Grateful for their leadership making difficult decisions to keep the community safe and healthy during COVID. And grateful for the opportunity to practice with so many dedicated teachers who give so generously in service.

A great place for yoga. The instructors are very talented and friendly. It is a nonprofit organization with a sliding scale. I am a reviewer of few words. Let it suffice to say that Asheville Community Yoga is an excellent place to practice yoga (they also feature Qi Gong & meditation and likely other practices as Covid lets up).

I am new to yoga and found the location via Groupon. Moving to a new place I wanted to find a new hobby. It is amazing as it is affordable on a tight budget and everyone is so inclusive. The staff is friendly and welcoming and the facility is beautiful. I look forward to continuing my yoga journey.

I have been attending ACY for almost 5 years and this place has been at the center of much healing and growth for me. I’ve been to other studios, but I have never experienced the warmth and genuine connection that I feel at ACY at any of these other studios. Asheville is truly fortunate to have this space and it’s always a top recommendation to people who are interested in diving into practice.

A well-designed and expansive yoga campus (3 indoor studios and a huge outdoor practice area) with knowledgeable instructors, staff and volunteers who genuinely care about the health, safety and well-being of their students, as well as the Asheville community at large. A safe space with classes for all levels of expertise. Thank you, ACY!

As someone new to yoga, I was very nervous to go to my first ever yoga class and didn't know really even where to start! I live in the Burnsville area where we have no yoga, unfortunately, so I knew there would be some driving to do. I came across ACY's website and was immediately blown away at how thoughtful they were to give "new to yoga" folks the guidance needed to figure out which class is right for beginners. I also love the fact that they are a donation based organization with the wellness mission of making yoga accessible to everyone! After my first class I was hooked. I now drive the 70 minute round trip to the studio at least twice a week for classes with Emily and Dana, and do the online classes with Jot, both Live and Recorded, at least twice a week. I have NOTHING bad to say about this organization, its VOLUNTEER instructors/staff, or its facility...including the awesome little thrift store inside called Zen and Now. I encourage everyone to begin, or continue, a wellness journey of their own and, if that journey includes yoga, to consider becoming part of this community. Thanks ACY!!

I've been taking classes there for over 10 years and it feels like home. The staff is always amazing, so welcoming and helpful. The teachers are top notch, the facility is spotless and well stocked with everything I need. I cannot imagine going anywhere else to do yoga. I constantly recommend it.

I have been practicing at ACY through the last 10 years. It was actually the first place I ever practiced yoga. It has been amazing to watch this place grow over the last decade. It has continued to be an important part of my personal health and overall well-being. I am truly grateful to be in community with such beautiful, healthy, supportive people. Practicing together again has been wonderful! In such difficult times, it is great to see them taking the Covid precautions and steps needed to ensure everyone’s safety. We are blessed to have this studio in our community, and for continuing to make the benefits of yoga accessible for everyone.I highly recommend any of the classes. The teachers, volunteers, and staff are all awesome and it’s a great place for any experience level.

I can not say enough good things about community yoga. I’ve been going for years and it’s truly like going home every time I arrive. I’m so appreciative that they have worked so hard to create a safe space by prioritizing outdoor classes, requiring vaccine cards, and masks indoors. It’s so awesome knowing that this space is run by people who are truly community minded!
