Took my first class in the virtual studio and it was very well done, able to relax just as if I were in the classroom. The instructor (Becca Odom) was fabulous. Accessing and signing up were simple and easy.

It was my first time to the studio, and Asheville in general! The studio and boutique felt welcoming. I enjoyed the flow of Steph's Ashtanga mix, and her not-so-seriousness. I look forward to coming back in the upcoming weeks.

I love AYC! It is a wonderful space for practicing and learning yoga. Wonderful, caring and highly knowledgeable teachers. Stephanie and Sunny, thank you for creating such an amazing community! AVL is so lucky to have you - and with the streaming classes, those of us who do not live in AVL can still connect to the community. Thank you for sharing your love with the world!

I've been a raving fan of AYC for almost 10 years. I always check out studios when I travel, and have never found one that is as excellent as Asheville Yoga Center. I love the community and always feel great when I'm welcomed by the loving staff. Everyone at AYC really walks the talk. I'm forever grateful for Stephanie and all of the amazing teachers and staff. I love AYC!!

The staff were very friendly upon greeting me. The space was beautiful and Dani, the instructor that taught the class was amazing. It is also awesome that noda yoga offers classes on a sliding fee or karma scale, it makes yoga more accessible to certain populations. Super groovy.

My friend Kristie and I were visiting from out-of-town. We were looking for a drop-in yoga class and Kristie had heard great things about this studio. We picked a Slow Flow & Yin class with Amanda Hastings. I've been having left hip issues for over a year now. After Amanda's class, it feels better than it has in many months! I didn't get to tell Amanda this after class, but she has the most gentle touch and filled with light. Thanks for welcoming us. It made our trip awesome!

love AYC. teachers are personable, everyone is accepted no matter what level of student you are, and you can give your body what you need in that moment without feeling like you need to adapt it for anyone in the room...it's a place where your yoga is really about you! and if you're interested in advancing teachers are there for that too. highly recommend this place to any yogi!

On vacation from NYC. The warm flow and Yin class was great. The class had a nice blend of a few poses that incorporate the fluidity of yin options within the pose. This class provided me with a nice stretch after a plane ride and the chance to re center and re focus going into a family vacation in Asheville. I really liked the playlist. The studio is walking distance from downtown. From NYC You can’t beat the $18.00 drop in price.

The teachers have a ton of knowledge and the ability to connect both anatomically and emotionally. I took Michael Johnson’s class on Tuesday. His message throughout this class was exactly what I needed to hear in my heart. His focus on breath and sequence was exactly what my body needed. I have never been disappointed with a teacher or class at Asheville.

Excellent teachers. Friendly staff and fellow yogis. A variety of classes. So happy that I found this studio on my 2 week visit to Asheville. Other students assured me that all the teachers are wonderful, not just the two I encountered.
