past my former Y, South Dekalb Y closed effectively 2 years ago, I like the variety of classes & programs (spin, core, pickleball, aquatices) offered at East Lake Y & the instructors (some of who taught at SDY) during the weekday which really works for me since I am now retired.

The staff is friendly and helpful, the facility is clean and the equipment is all maintained. The pool and hot tub are wonderful after taking a class for sore muscles and loosening up. I am beyond grateful for my membership here as they also work on an income based scale. Honestly can’t say enough nice things about this place.

This is a great YMCA location. The workout equipment is broken up into three or four separate rooms (plus a few cardio machines on the track). I've rarely seen it crowded and never have to wait long for equipment. One of the rooms has equipment that many Ys don't have, including plyo boxes, a sled, battle ropes, and resistance bands. There are no TVs or loud music, so you are free to work out in silence or use headphones with no distractions. The pool is also really nice, and there is a sauna and steam room. I can't speak to the classes but they look like fun! Finally there is a reduced fee for "young adults" in their 20s.

This facility is run by lazy and crooked people. We tried to cancel our membership about 10 times, first online, then on the phone, then in person. Each time we were assured the membership was canceled and then we were billed, yet again. This has been going on for over a year and they are completely unremorseful.

The YMCA is an amazing resource for families in the community. Promoting wellness and teaching your children the importance of exercise at a young age is crucial. The benefits far outweigh the monthly cost for a family. We can go there to …

I thoroughly enjoy working out at East Lake Y. The personnel/instructors/weight room attendants are all courteous, professional and helpful. The facility is clean and well maintained. My goal is to increase my participation and make improved fitness a priority.

I'm back at the Y after two years of absence due to Covid. Because of their Pelotons and ease of access, I'm back to working out 2-3 times a week, and it's been great. Many people still wear masks, and I've never had to wait for a Peloton. …

Awesome! Front desk staff very personable, my spin instructor Linda Rosser is the bomb! And Freddie my wellness coach is so so patient with me but yet advances me so gently as a senior! I love my location so that I travel about 20 min. the 4 days I attend.
