I love Village Fitness and mostly I love RIP classes on Thursday evenings. In fact, when I think of all the things, I love about Village Fitness (the amazing staff, the awesome classes, the positive environment, the cleanliness), I sometimes wonder if I could ever love them as much if there was no such thing as RIP classes with the awesome trainer Colby on Thursdays.

Village Fitness is a phenomenal fitness facility! Everyone is committed to helping you become the best version of yourself and the trainers are fantastic at making sure that you are using good technique while keeping you engaged, encouraged, and challenged! They are committed to helping you achieve your goals: big and small!I love going to the gym now that I have such a wonderful “gym family” at VF that really cares! It really is like a family though and I thoroughly enjoy going to get my workouts in 5-6 days a week. Going to the gym used to be a chore, but ever since I started going to VF, the results have been incredible and my mindset towards my workouts has completely shifted! Not only is the staff great, but it is very clean and has all the equipment and facilities that you could possibly want! The indoor pool is probably one of my favorite parts. I started out in the 21 day Kickstarter program (highly recommend!) and I haven’t looked back since then!

After trying many local gyms this is where I have felt the most at home. First, the location is ideal…no fighting traffic to get there. Awesome energy and knowledgeable trainers, they are eager to help and will take time to teach you proper technique and demonstrate options for different levels. The staff takes the time to understand your goals and what you are striving for; and they WILL get you there and further, while having fun. The different options for classes is also a plus, as well as the diverse workout combinations. As an added bonus you will make real friendships with the clients and that helps when you have a ‘buddy’ to work out with. If you give Village Fitness a chance you will fall in love with the gym, the staff, and the clients as much as I did. Hope to see you there! 💪🏋️♀️🙌❤️

I have belonged to many gyms in different places over the years. Village Fitness is by far the best! It is friendly, encouraging and positive. It has all the amenities you could want but in a smaller, personalized environment. I highly recommend the small group training and team training. The trainers and staff are great! Shout out to trainer Stephanie, she is a terrific teacher and so encouraging! I look forward to my workouts and that makes me more fit and healthy!

Exceptional facility with exceptional staff. Small group fitness classes and trainers are tuned into what you need and can tolerate - super helpful. This is key if you are a senior citizen of new to the gym scene. If I ever leave Aiken, I am not sure I can find a gym that meets my needs all well as Village Fitness has.

The Team at Village Fitness is AWESOME! They work together to help each person meet our individual health goals and pay close attention to the details when they customize workouts. For example, after my neck surgery, I was not able to do certain exercises; these outstanding trainers tailored the exercises so I still benefited and stayed safe while working out to my full potential. The staff and trainers care about their clients and it shows in everything they do! Thank you for creating a friendly atmosphere and healthy gym environment that encourages me to come into The Village to workout:-)

Village fitness is MORE than just a gym! You are not forgotten after you sign up. The trainers and staff stay engaged and continue to encourage you to reach your fitness goals. They make sure that you are using correct techniques and not just going through the motions so that you get results. You will look forward to going to the gym! It is an atmosphere of encouragement, community, fitness and friendships!

I’ve been going to this gym practically since they opened, so I think about seven or eight years now. They are a small gym, but they have a great selection of free weights and machines. Unless you only go at peak hours, there’s usually no wait to use whatever equipment you want. I’ve had a great experience with them so far, and it’s great value for the money. The staff and other members are polite - no obnoxious or overly loud people like you have in big commercial gyms. The owner is really nice. I don’t do many of the classes, but I’ve only ever heard good things about them. My one complaint is that the benches were put together slightly incorrectly. The handle on the end of the bench should be bolted in two spots, but it’s only bolted in one, making the handle floppy. It makes the benches extremely difficult to move around, and I’ve hurt myself on it a couple times over the years. I’ve seen some older people have a really hard time and just give up on moving them. It would be an incredibly easy fix, so I’m not sure why it’s been that way for so many years. And also, they don’t have mirrors behind the squat racks anymore. That’s a really useful spot to have them to check your form.
