Working out at APC has been a fantastic experience. They offer plans with group/guided classes as well as 24/7 self-serve access. The coaches are all trained or in-training physical therapists, which which puts some rigor and science behind their methodologies. There's just enough equipment for almost any training regiment, though space is limited. 1 of each piece of equipment so you may need to be flexible based on other members.Uniquely, they have a full set of speciality barbell and a huge range of kettlebells. Also a sled, a small turf area, bike/rower/ski machine, mats, and mobility equipment. Those have been harder to find at other lifting focused gyms in my experience. All in all, a well thought out place to work out if you're ok with no-frills and just want to do the work.

The 24/7 access is a game-changer. I can work out on my own schedule without any hassle. The trainers’ expertise is also impressive, should you choose to pursue personal classes or just inquire about an exercise. Gray deserves a shoutout; his responsiveness has made my transition to Austin that much easier. If you're tired of crowded or overpriced gyms, APC is a gem.

100% a great gym. Ive lived all over the U.S. and been a gym rat for years and when i say i love everything about this place i mean it all. The culture, how chill but likeable everyone is, the lack of egos, equipment plus training variety, and everyone is there to work while learning. The owner is the type of person that many gyms would benefit from having around. If youre out this way pull up and enjoy a dope place that fits everyone.

This is the gym you want to go to. It's for all experience level and truly loaded with all the equipment you need to get properly strong. There is a set of calibrated LB plates so I can ensure my powerlifting competition prep is done right. The owner has a fantastic training philosophy that strength and learning is for everyone.

Amazing gym atmosphere with no egos, everyone from high school athletes to great-grandparents training together during class times, and 24hr-access memberships if you want a place to train on your own.Gray and his coaches have a huge breadth of knowledge in all things strength and are passionate about helping people stay strong and healthy for life.

I’ve been to many gyms and a variety of trainers. Gray is very hands on and focused on what is right for you which isn’t always just getting as pumped as possible. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and will detail your form relentlessly so you are getting the most out of your workout which is exactly what I want in a coach. The private feel of the gym is a lot nicer than the big box gyms, at least for me.

I love this gym because of the welcoming environment and how comfortable it is to be there. It has the equipment you need without “gym egos” and teaches you to lift for life and age in a healthy manner. It’s non-intimidating with actual strength equipment. And I have 24 hours access with the Bronze membership!

APC is the place where jocks and nerds unite and join forces! I’m a working mom without a traditional athletic background, but I wanted to do a few months of individualized programming to learn the basic barbell lifts. This was the perfect place to do it. Gray has imparted a ton of knowledge about the science of strength training and different approaches, and tailored my programming to my individual needs. I’ve met awesome people in the group classes and enjoyed the flexibility of coming on my own time with 24/7 gym access. This gym has made me feel confident and capable which would not necessarily be the case at all gyms!
