I can’t say enough good things about this gym. It has set the standard for what I expect out of any gym moving forward. The coaches are great teachers and people, and have always felt like friends. They care about your improvement and enjoyment of class while pushing you to do better each class. The facilities are large and full of useful equipment. The schedule is full of many different types of classes and focuses, and accommodate all levels of experience. The members are warm and friendly and make fast friends, while caring about the craft and helping to improve one another. I’ve learned a lot at this gym both from the coaches and the members. Best of all, there is always someone better than you at something here so you stagnation is unlikely. The culture of this gym, from my perspective, is warm, full of respect, and focused on everyone’s improvement while maintaining safety and enjoyment. I have yet to find another gym that gets close to this, which, having moved away, has been hard. I look forward to training at this gym again in the future! Thanks to Randy, Tessa, and Adam - and all the other coaches for making this such a great place to train. Can’t wait to be back.

Tried out a couple different gyms before finding Austin Kickboxing Academy. The moment I finished my first session I knew it was the gym for me. Been there for a year and a half now and the staff and students have become a second family to me. Best decision I have ever made was to join this gym and it has truly changed my life on multiple levels and built me into a better, stronger, more compassionate and friendly person. The friends I've made here will last a life time along with the lessons I've learned and memories I've made.

5/5 Trained here for roughly ~1.5 years. Highly recommend for anybody interested in finding their next martial arts gym. Coach's are all very welcoming and create a safe environment for their members that range from competition-level to day-one gym go'ers. It's clear Randy and the rest of the coaches hold their gym to a high standard in all aspects -- from attention to their students to cleanliness of the gym. You'll for sure get a great workout every class.Good vibes environment all around, they host holiday party's and social gatherings to ensure everyone feels welcome.

Austin Kickboxing Academy has been absolutely awesome. Their wide variety of classes has been valuable as well! I have been going here for some time. Great team behind AKA, the community you get to be a part of, and the growth both physically and mentally. In just the last class I attended, I was on my last spurt of energy ending the Boxing class and several other students as well as the coach/instructor were super encouraging in pushing through and finishing off the class strong.I hope you find yourself here as a member and hope to witness your growth as well, I can see how much passion is shown through coaches/instructors in supporting us. They even offer the first class free to get a feel for it, I hope you give yourself the opportunity to better your quality of life at Austin Kickboxing Academy!- Tido
