I have been to multiple Barry’s locations this one is one of my favorite that I call home. It’s got a lot of vibe, the people, playlists and awesome instructors. My go to instructors are Josey, Annette, Kenzie, Ashely and Phillip I highly recommend them for any day of the week.Remember kids.. Workout HARD, and be nice to the studio managers, staff, instructors and your fellow clients.

When traveling to new cities, I love to try new workouts, which is how I decided to try this class on a visit to Austin. Although I would traditionally lean toward the tread class, I decided on a chest, back, and abs flex class since my legs were sore from a run. I got there only 5 minutes before class, but they were able to expedite the process and get me into a class. The instructor Phillip was innovative with his movements and encouraging. As someone accustomed to various modes of fitness, I didnt feel overwhelmed as I do walking into a new space as I have felt at Crossfitor Orange Theory. Great workout! Im sore today, but not to the point of being uncomfortable. I'd recommend giving it a chance!

This business is very disappointing. I registered and paid for a class this morning. When I arrived on time, they told me that they had given my spot away. I spoke with a manger (Bailey) and she said that they give away class reservations five minutes before the class starts. They don't call you. Their app does not allow you to check in unless you are in the studio. This was a terrible customer experience.

Had a great 7:25am class here during a vacation in Texas. Kenzie was full of energy and it motivated me to go beast in the early morning. The Studio is amazingly decorated and they even have a cool drink area. Whenever in Austin I will get Weird here with the Austin crew at Barry’s

Giving 3 stars is being generous. I’ve been training for almost 30 years and I’ve been to every studio out there. The facility is nice but if you’re like myself that’s more interested in the quality of the workout routine then you should look elsewhere. F45 classes are much better and Barry’s is a spin off to Orange Theory. If I wanted to run on the treadmill I can do it anywhere and then the floor routine is weak. This gym is way overrated and overpriced. This studio is for amateurs IMO

Absolutely incredible experience. LOVED the team at Barry's Austin. Not only are the workouts effective, however the trainers are exceptional at what they do - the energy and attentiveness they bring to every workout is simply beyond. I especially loved Kenzie, Annette and the reception team who went above and beyond to make me feel so welcome from Australia! Highly recommend and will definitely be back next time I am back in Austin.

I loved my workout with Barry’s! It was a great experience, however it is INSANELY expensive. At the end of the day, it is a workout on a treadmill and with dumbbells. You go through exercises on the floor and then a routine on the tread lead by an instructor. The instructor was awesome. Super energetic and had a great playlist. It’s super duper loud though so it’s tough to hear at times and it’s dark. They do provide towels as well. There’s ample free parking and you have to take stairs or elevator up to the next floor to get to the gym. There are showers, lockers (no locks), and other items like blow dryer, spray deodorant and restrooms.Overall, I really enjoyed it but it is not something I will do as my main workout routine simply due to cost alone. Would recommend trying it out!!

I had never been to a Barry’s studio before and started at the South Lamar Austin Barry’s pop-up studio last year. Since day 1, I have had an amazing experience every single time I have showed up to class. They always welcome you with a friendly hello and smile, and never forget to say bye when walking out! Also, the new downtown location on 2nd street is so clean and has the best amenities (fresh towels, beautiful locker room, and of course, a smoothie bar)! You really can’t go wrong once you become a Barry’s regular. The instructors get to know you and always know how to pick you up! Special shout-out to Kenzie, Annette, Kolbie, Josey, and Brandon! Y’all gotta take all of their classes! PS - The Barry’s & Brunch smoothie is the absolute GOAT of smoothies! :)

Barry's is undoubtedly the best place to go for an amazing HIIT workout. The environment, lights and music are energizing and motivational, and the classes are well-structured, efficient and effective. But the difference between Barry's and other places is the instructors and staff, and their philosophy that Barry's is more than just a gym -- it's a community. A community of kind, caring people. Every single instructor at Barry's Austin is not only the best at what they do, they are also quality humans that take a sincere interest in not just your health and fitness progress, but also in you as a person. In addition to getting in the best shape of my life, I'm thankful to have made many connections with quality people at Barry's, including not only instructors and staff, but also other members. Barry's Fitfam is one of their taglines, and everyone takes it to heart.I went to Barry's for a great workout, but I also found a great community :)
