LA Fitness

Women's locker room needs to be deep cleaned/sanitized daily. I wish LA Fitness would be more transparent about what their cleaning actually entails and communicate that with members because a few of the showers in the locker room do not drain and will pool at your feet. There is also hair on the floor and generally feels sticky. Does not help its connected with the pool area and it is extremely humid. I am there first thing in the morning too, so I can't imagine what its like in the evening. I hardly ever post reviews--this gym has been by far the cleanest I've been to in the Austin area, which isn't really saying much, but I still would recommend it. Just wish they would clean more. Was on a treadmill this morning and someone had spilled some sort of electrolyte drink all over the tread and the sides. Was sticky when I was walking on it and was collecting dirt from the stickiness. Then when I picked up my phone from the cup holder it was soaked with whatever drink someone spilled. Just really gross.

For the money, the club is great; but some annoyances: only 2 of the 6 men's showers have decent water pressure, they have a hard time keeping janitorial staff with cleaning sometimes spotty, we often mop the racquetball courts ourselves. Still a very attractive price and the desk staff is friendly. Been a member since they opened.

The pool has been closed over a week. All the staff always say is they don't know. Makes me want to close my membership. …

Do NOT go to this location. The "Sales" team is skeevy and pushy. They work off of commission and will do anything to trap you in to the worst possible contract. They are super pushy, cannot be trusted. I am talking about several staff …

I got refused by them in getting a trial pass because it was after 6pm and they said it was reserved for its members only. How am I supposed to try out a gym if I can’t fit it into my work schedule? This place is outdated anyway and they have a sales team so it’s all about them making money instead of caring about new customers.

The gym is just a very nice gym i been here over an year and this gym is just outstanding it haves a sauna and also a pool. All i gotta say the people here are pretty dope they like to show you and walk you through workouts.

Visiting LA fitness for the first time and Milo’s was very friendly and helpful. He showed around the gym and answered all my questions in a detailed manner. He also offered me to give me a personal training session before I start my workout. Feeling very positive about the gym. Everyone’s helpful and friendly in the gym which is the biggest motivation to keep showing up regularly. Highly recommend this gym.

Great gym! Always Very clean and space is open with lots of light. Ample equipment options and very spacious. I have been going for years and this place is one of the best memberships I’ve had.

I’ve toured a few gyms in the area and LA fitness was by far the cleanest and best gym. We received a complementary training session with Tim the general manager and it was the best workout I’ve had in a while. They really know their stuff and are committed to helping you achieve your goals. The racketball court and Pool are welcome additions not mention the hot tub. I’ve seen complaints on the locker rooms being dirty that issue seems to have been fixed.
